Does anyone know the total count of the number of peace agreements and cease-fires between Israel and the Palestinians? It must number in the dozens by now, and nothing has really changed.

Don't know......but ironically they seem to turn out Nobel Peace Prize winners like it's a cottage industry.

'Tis all " mental masterbation ". How can you declare truce without all the antagonists? Egypt get to keep US Aid, Netanyahu improves his reelection chances, Hamas keeps some infrastructure still standing. Hezbollah not a party to the talks will continue to make mischief at varing levels with deniability to all The games go on unchanged!

Yes somthing has been changed, 5 Isrealis and 140 Palestinians have died. That changes a lot for all the people in there lives. As to the politics of the midEast I don't think one battle changes it all that much. The fanatics on both sides should find an empty area and kill each other and let the rest of the region live in peace...

Great job in getting a ceasefire Madame Secretary. Thank God we have a great Secretary of State like Hillary Clinton. She will make a fine President in 2016.

Again leading from behind.... Egypt (of all countries) brokers the deal and Hillary waddles in to take credit. A fine president in 2016, yep, now we just need to find a way to get the members of the Springfield Deaf Children's Choir Boosters to wait that long for her to take over running the club. I'm thinking we should let her take over now, while she's still a slightly viable candidate.

@Sharpshooter Oh, I can hardly wait for Hillary to be sworn in in 2016. Which one of the stooges do you think the GOP will nominate? Moe Santorum, Larry Gingrich or Curley Christie?

@PNWest The Deaf Children's Choir will certainly benefit by her leadership. As for the Republican Nomination, I'm thinking they will actually use the primaries to allow the people to make the choice rather than having Axelshaft and Jarret decide and run fake elections to enforce their choice.

@PNWest I intelligently select the candidate who has the most to offer at the time of the election. Frankly, making the choice for someone 4 years ahead of the game seems sheep like to me. "I'll support Hillary next because it's her turn." is a stupid way to choose a candidate. Different times bring different situations requiring a specific skill set for a leader, sort of like selecting players for a specific defense depending on the down, yardage and field position. That's how one should vote, others, apparently like you, simply vote the party line regardless the circumstance, hence four more years of incompetence and failed policy. That's OK, it's your vote and your right to do with it as you wish. Hillary Clinton? She's a joke, proven by the way she allowed willie to humiliate her publicly with lewinski. Hillary stayed because she craves power more than even self respect. Anyone so hungry for power is dangerous.

The solution is so simple. Impose an indefinite embargo on both Israel and Palestine. Allow absolutely nothing to enter or leave either. Maintain the embargo until they reach a solution. Impose significant adverse consequences for violation of that solution by either side.

The Muslim brotherhood is dam glad. They did not want to get kicked to the curb by Israel again. It is hard to keep face.when a small country you have been trying to destroy for a couple of centuries and have not yet did it.

why did they wait 24 hours to implement a plan agreed on yesterday?

and why is the Muslim Brotherhood involved at all?

everytime this happens Israel kicks hamas in the ass until they holler uncle. then an American envoy shows up with a boatload of US taxpayer money to give to the Palestinians how to "rebuild" which really means rearm.

what's different this time is the involvement of the Muslim Brotherhood as the mediator. even though the Muslim Brotherhood blamed everything on Israel , there's Clinton sitting down with them like they're an equal partner.

I'll bet we're going to do them a special favor for helping us out...
    wonder what that could be...
    more foreign aid?
    maybe in arms agreement?
maybe in a good faith moment we will release the blind Sheik?

very odd set of circumstances. Clinton could have been out this yesterday when she was in Gaza. and people murdered and then dragged through the streets by Savages riding motorcycles might possibly be still alive today.. but then the Brotherhood wouldnt of got their photo up with a high ranking US government official.

1 of these days Israel is going to have to go in there and delouse Gaza

SOS different year! The Palestinians start, the Israelis strike back and as soon as the Muslim idiots start getting their asses kicked they want a ceasefire. The only way to stop it is let Israel take out the Hamas terrorists. Israel has agreed in the past to almost every term the Palestinians have wanted and it is never good enough. Let Israel wipe them out and have the land back. KILL THEM ALL AND LET GOD SORT THEM OUT!

Good news, and not just for civilians in the line of fire. Now Mr Netanyahu can claim a military victory during the January elections.
