This is nothing. Barry will send hillarious Clinton over there with billions of taxpayer money and the terrorists will take over, just like Egypt. The Muslims will rule the world soon and Barry is helping them impose their will upon the rest of the planet.
I guess the community activists supporters just want to "forget" his statement..........
In “Audacity of Hope” he writes:“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.
    Pathetic libs

I think the US will get involved before chemical weapons are used. I think the Brotherhood got its eyes on Syria and they want o Bama to deliver it

@woodtick57 Why don't you go over there and volunteer your services if you fell that way? I'm sure that they would love to have you there.

Agreed. This is the problem we have, we stick our noses in other countries businesses. Let em' kill each other off and be done with it, and while we're at it, we should cut taxpayer funded foreign aid to boot.

We already are the target. The former USSR has bio weapons targeted for every major city in the US. The problem now is, some of these weapons are in the hands of rogue states. The muj has plenty of money to throw at some of these starving states to sell them off. We have been getting ready for over ten years, I am on a midwest Haz-Mat team trained in WMD's. The government gave us over $1.6M to upgrade our team and we have trained with Marine Corps and Army CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) teams.

Seriously though, chemical weapons are scary stuff & the international community should act jointly to discourage & prevent their use

You don' know the half of it when it comes to chemical weapons. Google Dr. William Patrick and read some of his stuff. He was called the "father of America's bio weapons program. I am on a Haz-Mat team and trained in WMD's. I have personally met Dr. Patrick and know WMD's are targeted for every major American city. Bio weapons are MUCH scarier than chems. The devices used to monitor bio's are more expensive (meaning not many are out there), harder to read and are subject to false readings. Bio's can't be seen, smelled, or felt (till it's too late). Chem weapons can be seen in some cases, smelled (although it's not good when that happens) and felt in many cases. The monitoring devices are cheaper and easier to use. The international community didn't do squat when Sadaam used them against the Kurds (it's been proven he used chemical weapons), so I don't see them getting all excited about anyone using them against Israel. Also, the government has given out team over $1.6M over the past couple years to upgrade our team and we have been training hard on WMD's. One last thing, the UN held a conference in 1995 in which Al Gore Attended, entitled " The UN conference on GLOBAL DEPOPULATION". Merry Christmas and may God help us.

We invade a country and overthrow its government over fictional weapons of mass destruction. We slap onerous economic sanctions on a second country over fears that it may, at some indefinite point, have enough enriched uranium to start to figure out how to make it into a bomb.

But when Syria looks to be ready to deploy a real WMD it's suddenly a local issue that the USA should stay out of.

I have never agreed with the war on Iraq. I personally feel we should let them kill each other! They hate us with every fiber of their being. So I could care less what they do or who they do it to as long as they keep it over there. We need to start taking care of our own the hell with everyone else.

Let's see should the US get involved in a fight between an Islamist thug/dictator and the radical faction called Islamic Brotherhood that.....if they wipe each other out it is bad because? How did Charlie Sheen put it....."WINNING!" How did removing Mubarak work out or good old Mohamar in Libya? We traded a nut ball for guys who's creed states holy jihad against the West is a good thing. When will we learn to stand back and let them kill each other like they have for 1000's of years?

A fuckin bullet rips off part of your head! Your brains are laying on the ground in little bloody pieces! Now I ask ya. Would you give a fuck what kind of pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearing

The United States needs to stay out of the situation whatever it turns out to be. Russia is a Syrian ally. It is time for Russia to step up and flex it's muscle on the Assad government. Russia should do everything it can to keep the conflict conventional.

this kind of talk is eerily similar to the way Bill Clinton and George Bush were talking about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...
we all know what's next ...dont we?
