No, rich people are not evil. Capitalism is not evil. Free enterprise is not evil...what IS evil, is wealth distribution and Socialism, and it doesn't work... it never has and never will...Look at Greece, Italy, etc,. Europe here we come.

"Look at Greece, Italy, etc,. Europe here we come." .....

In case you actually watched the video my only comment is "Look Over There"

Look at Greece, Italy? Like we don't know history? These empires were brought down by greed, by capitalism. And last thing I am gonna tell you, capitalism, socialism, communism, and every other form of human government is EVIL bc it is created by men and the thought of men is evil and mankind is evil by nature.

Actually, studies have shown that many corporate CEOs exhibit the symptoms of sociopathy. In those cases, they are literally evil. They cannot feel empathy and enjoy manipulating people solely for the joy of puppeteering. Sociopathy is a great trait if you want to climb the corporate ranks. It lets you hurt people any way you need to and yet not lose any sleep over it.

This is real and true liberal socialist indoctrination, No difference between this and the Hitler youth of the 1940's, Where children were taught to kill their own parents.
Democrat union school teachers have been using these tactic's for years, and the parents are too clue less to even know whats going on.
If parents don't take a stand soon, They will have more Hitler youths on their hands.
This is just one process on how the unions and democrats are completing their agenda to get "Complete Socialism" in this USA.

    Wake up Folks!!!!

You're actually comparing an 8 minute cartoon to teaching kids to kill their parents? That's a bit of stretch even for a conspiracy theorist.
  • #46
    !
    @jessejaymes
No, Not actually a stretch at all.
George Soros and the Tides foundation had the anti capitalism movie the story of stuff, and now this, The indoctrination never stops does it.
The Unites States is in ruin now , our children are stupid, our young parents cant think for themselves, it looks like this entire country has just thrown in the towel, and now our freedoms are threatend.
The new Hitler youth all voted for Obama and his liberal food stamp programs because they have been indoctrinated against hard work.
It makes me sad that our Country of freedom and liberty is now gone.

    @Vance1
You want the country we were? You know how we got that? 90% tax rate on the wealthiest. We actual had a middle class who bought things thus making everyone involved more money.
Not that I expect more of an argument out of you then that everything is a conspiracy to promote communism.
The video is simply filled with facts. You just refuse to accept them because you hate Americans so much.

Typical propaganda from the teachers union. Prior to the 60's, and the teachers unions, we were at the pinnacle of excellence in education, and second to none. Since then, we are now at 17th place in dumbed down PubEd, and 12th in the higher schools of indoctrination. And on top of that, we spend more per student than any other nation in the world and get less bang for our buck!

The public sector unions are driving this country off a fiscal cliff, They make more money & garner more in benefits than their counterparts in the private sector who pay their salaries through taxes. Mexifornia, typifies where this country is headed -- a slow spiral into oblivion. Many cities in Californicate are declaring bankruptcy as we speak, because of this up-side down approach to entitlements.

The funny thing about all this, Mexico is looking at the direction we're headed with our Hellacious debt and spending, AND, learning from it. The current unemployment there is at 5%, and their budget will be balanced at the end of this year. A third world country is leading the way -- and we. with a dufus idiot at the helm of this ship of state, floundering in rough economic seas, both rudderless and leaderless. Unfortunately, this is not the "Good ship lollipop," and the 'empty suit' is no Captain January.....

Coincidentally, that's the same thought I had when I saw those Thomas Peterffy ads. I thought of him again watching this important cartoon! Only instead of the narrator, he was the rich dude peeing on the heads of the good people.

Sorry folks, but its true! Its just facts that the last decade the rich have become ultra rich from not paying their fair share and screwing everyone. The only people that did not get screwed was the other rich people. Its time they go back to paying their fair share just like the rest of us and no more bailouts for anyone!

What is true? That video had little to do with truth and much to do with propaganda. It reminds me of Al Gore's docudrama and how many teachers were presenting that as the truth.

Add on top of all of that the simple fact is that no matter how high you raise the tax rate on the rich it isn't going to squeeze one more penny out of them. They have moved nearly all of that money out of the government reach. Some is located in overseas investments. More is located in other tax free shelters. The only people who are subject to these silly tax ideas are the small business owners and those who are looking for a job. Because this will just cause them to invest in places that will not "insist that they will pay their fair share".

It is also funny that many of those like you who want the rich to pay their fair share pay little to nothing at all. In many cases they not only will not pay anything but receive more than they pay in taxes.

@Tina Now that's a joke! My husband worked 14 hours of overtime a few weeks back take a guess what percentage they taxed it at? Try 36%! His company actually does the calculations for them its a seperate page they rip off. I say if they move their money out of the country then we tax the hell out of every business they own! Its people like you who are just sitting on their hands shrugging their shoulders saying "there is nothing we can do about it" I say screw that I have two teenagers on the cusp of graduating high school. I would like to them succeed in life not living paycheck to paycheck like their father and I are doing. These tax breaks were a bad ideal then and look at where it has put us now! If you know so much then what's your suggestion?

@classychazy you go after the rich like you want to and they own businesses then your 2 kids have less of a chance to get a job let alone make more money in there pay checks . If you really want tax reform flat tax get rid of income tax and tax the 47% of the country that pays nothing and gets back more in tax returns they even pay into the system
  • #65
    !
@Citrus93ta. I agree with the flat tax and the 47% of those who pay nothing getting 5 and 6 thousand dollar returns. Hell my girlfriend who has never worked a day in her life got back more money then my husband and I did combined last year. That really pissed me off! I am tired of seeing both ends of the spectrum and we the middle class getting bent over and f@cked from both sides!
  • #69
    !
@classychazy if we go off the fiscal cliff or not I hate to say it the middle class in this country really are done . The democrats are pushing most Americans for government dependency so they can get easy vote to keep there freebies and the super rich will always keep there money whatever it takes . The real ending or beginning how ever you look at it is when the freebie part of society stops getting there freebies then the shit will hit the fan . The government won't have the work horse ( middle class) to fall back on like always . Today Obama already went from his campaign of taxing the 1% now it's the 2% it will reach the middle class , there's no way the government can keep spending and start obamacare without pulling the middle class into taxing .

@DerivePI Once upon a time there was a close election. Instead of allowing the man with the most votes to win the evil Supreme Court appointed the court jester as King.

For 8 long years the country suffered under multiple wars and economic decline. Finally the people rose up and elected a new leader. The new King nearly doubled the stock market and wound down the wars and started getting things back to good times.

But there who those who did not like the king for he was not fair of skin. They tried to replace him with a fairer skinned King. But the people would not have it. They loved their King and reelected him.

And the country lived happily ever after (or at least for the next 4 years.

And they wonder why folks are leaving California and continue to lose respect for teachers year after year. And I'm a native Californian that saw the changes between the schools I went to and the ones my kids went to.

Simply untrue. California has more millionaires than at any time in their history. A recent study released less than three weeks ago shows that taxes do not influence millionaires to leave California and in fact California is still the preferred destination of newly created millionaires over every other state.
  • #37

@jessejaymes The millionaires may stay and live there but according to many articles business is leaving California. Even Michael Moore made his movies in Michigan.

@David944 The vast majority of films have never been made in California since the late 1960's. There is, in fact, only one movie studio located in "Hollywood" and it's the old DesiLu lot and for all intents and purposes nothing more than a tourist attraction. The Universal Studio lot in the hills between L.A. and the Valley is a tourist attraction more than a functioning movie lot today. Man low budget horror movies and such continue to be made in obscure sound stage buildings around mostly the San Fernando Valley. You simply have no accurate information on the state of movie making in California today. There real business in movie making today is taking place on the lots of Disney and Dreamworks IN California and being done by people on Computers. I am a music and film editor and I know what I'm talking about. Most movies being filmed are not being filmed in California for at least 50 years.

This is the face of the angry offensive progressive party. No wonder they can't get along with anyone but themselves. America under this administration has become the armpit of humanity, or I should say, the progressives have become the armpit of humanity. Does an uglier, nasty or meaner bunch of so called humans exist? What happened to civility? What happened to kindness and truthfulness and common decency? This administration as singlehandedly turned as gracious and loving group of people in to less than animals.

Aside from the distasteful "golden showers" bit, and the extreme bias in favor of public services unions, there was a lot of truth in that little cartoon. If the GOP wants so much for America to return to what they like to refer to as the idyllic 50s, then let's have the Eisenhower tax rates back as well.

This video is complete and utter BS. I find it shameful that California Taxpayer Public Schools would have the audacity to show it to children. I hope some parents in California step up and sue. Teachers job is to educate, not indoctrinate. Reading, Writing, Arithmetic (along with Science and History). That's it. Politics should be left out of public schools, period.
  • #60
    !
Just a question. I did not read in the abbreviated lead in up top that it had been shown to children. If it has, can you provide a link? And if it has been used in schools, it is wrong, no matter what I may or may not think of it.

@MRMacrum It's the YouTube video that was posted in the article. Here's a link for it:

Glad we agree here. I'm also glad I'm not a California Resident. I weep for the poor parents who have to send their children to California schools. It is wrong to be imposing these silly nonsense videos upon our children. Like I said, teachers should stick to the basics: Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Science, and History.

@MarkJM - I still cannot see where this video was aimed specifically at children in the classroom. Was it used in the classrooms of California? That they may find it on the Internet only makes one of a gajillion other opinion pieces on the internet and means it was not forced upon them. In my mind just its existence does not mean it was meant to be used as a learning tool for kids. I would need some verification that it has been shown in the classroom.
  • #143
    !
@MRMacrum misread your comment, I haven't seen any accounts of it actually being used in a classroom but I'm sure it's coming. Again, this is coming from the California Federation of Teachers, of course they're gonna throw this incessant drivel at the students eventually.

That was so funny. But ppl know it's the truth. Remember, that's exactly what has brought the end of empires before. Greed of men. And it's also the very reason why the wrath of God will come down upon the sons of men. Greed. "For everyone who is greedy, it takes the life of him."

I watched this last night after Greta did a piece on it. It would take a small research paper to prove how wrong it is on so many levels. So I will save myself the trouble and call it an outright propaganda lie from the socialists who run California.
