    Good for Jan. We need more conservatives who are not afraid to tell liberals that they are talking nonsense. A whole lot of pandering liberals need to be punched in their arms.

    Jeeze Neo - are you having a bad day? Encouraging violence against reporters asking pertinent questions, calling liberals names. What's gotten into you? Did they turn down your Canadian immigration request?

    @Neo_NtheMatrix What about these statements all within the last few hours?
    "I knew filthy liberals would come after Reagan sooner or later", "Liberals are ruthless and stop at nothing to spread their despicable lies","Take that slimy liberals"

    And by the way how come you didn't invite ME to come over to the dark side like you did Keyjo and Denizen_Kate? I guess you must realize I am uncorruptable :)

    She should have just hit him in the jaw. I like a conservative who isn't afraid to fight back. Liberals are ruthless and stop at nothing to spread their despicable lies. I'm glad Jan was not having it. Take that slimy liberals!

    @Neo_NtheMatrix I think it's going to come to that, as long as it's just a slap or punch...no guns or knives allowed. Just some friendly 'sparring'. LOL

    @Neo_NtheMatrix - he asked a question about climate change? How is that getting pushed around? Once more you're a 'real' Christian in wanting people to fight. I'd also like to add as an educated libertarian that climate change is happening whether it is natural and/or manmade. Our emissions are not helping I assure you, and in big cities it's what causes smog. Why have seas risin half an inch in a brief number of years, I know God didn't just add more water? So for you to think this man deserves to get clocked in the face for asking a governer her opinion on the climate is disturbing to say the least.

    @kirbstomp1 - It's disturbing to see propaganda spread that is designed to steal money from hard working Americans. Aren't we Taxed Enough Already?

    @Neo_NtheMatrix
    That's so pathetic. Conservatives can't deal with the facts and can't present reason for their stances so they'll just use violence to get everyone to agree with them. Fascist tyranny at its finest in your comment.
    Please go ahead and hit liberals when you can't win an argument. That way you will eventually become a felon and lose the right to vote in most states. Oh wait never mind I forgot. You're moving to that cradle of conservatism known as Canada.

    Yes I can, he was trying to bait her, I'm proud she stood up and told it the way it is instead of letting it slide

    If he was tring to bait her, it worked, didn't it? She should know better. And how is it baiting to ask her a question about her stance on an important issue? Isn't that what reporters are supposed to do? If she can't take the heat ...

    @Denizen_Kate
    would you have felt the same if someone asked Obama about his religion in the middle of a discussion on .. Say the national debt? That's an important issue to a lot of us but it would be out of line don't you think? Should we say the same thing to Obama, to get out of the kitchen if he can't handle the heat?
    I'm glad she got teed off!! I'd be proud of Obama( not enough to vote for him) if he would call out anybody trying to hijack the discussion!

    @Ashstop - To my knowledge, Obama has never assaulted a reporter for asking any question. There are other ways, tactful and respectful, to direct the conversation and keep it from going off-topic. Brewer showed plain old fashioned bad manners. Period.

    from the description in the article it wasn't heated at all but more likely good natured razzing of a member of the local press corps.

    Climate Change or Global Warming are code words for Tax and regulate

    I simply cannot believe that she used physical violence to make her point about climate change. Why do the liberals have to be beaten up so violently? Was he hospitalized? If so I wonder if he will need surgery. Oh, that poor, poor man.....

    Understatement of the day, DARSB. Some believe that Pelosi is the Wicked Witch of the West, but I think Brewer has her outdone.

    @Denizen_Kate I have not seen ruby slippers on a one of them-but wasn't the wicked witches from the east and west-is not nancy from the east or west--I know I should know this but I do not. I will say she lives in east-DC. Oh so I know what-Sarah Palin must be Glenda the Good witch from the North--I laugh so hard I snort. who can be the good which of the South-I want to make it Hillary-she lived in the south.

    @DARSB, is this another one of your factual statements-Please don't make me feel obligated to defend this woman, she looks plain grouchy to me.

    I am going to post before I read what anyone says-I laughed at this story, Heck I have punched my husband harder for leaving the toilet seat up-my democratic brother has whacked me in the back of the head .
    Honestly I do not punch my husband. But I still find this funny.
    Yeah Yeah Yeah, if a man did this to a woman-the GOP would be furious. When the Democratic Senators gets made at reporters they grab their arms rather tightly and threaten to punch the reporter in the face-these are true stories. anyway it is funny hahahahahahahah

    It is ok for Jan to punch a reporter!? What if he had done this to her because he didn't like her answer to a question. The reporter would have been arrested regardless of how softly he hit her. Shameful behavior, Governor, shameful. And, even if Gov. Brewer believes global warming is not occurring, she has to be informed enough on the issue to realize the question was on topic.

    Just visualize 2025 and 1/3 of the US is under water and you and your family are living In a tree and floating by you in a canoe is a drunken withered up old hag...Jan Brewer still denying global warming...look, it's this simple. It's the jan brewers of the world or its us. Think about it and then do something.

    I can understand it in the context that Jan Brewer is a wacko, but it really doesn't sound like she punched him, more like a shove to get his sttention. Really, it was more in the nature of telling the reporter "ah, come on". It hardly seemed violent and lets not blow it out of proportion. Indeed, I'd love to see Obama slug McConnel...

    It sounds more like Gibbs on NCIS,(love) thunking his subordinates on the back of the head. Governor Brewer can get away with it because she is female. But if it was a male governor punching a reporter on the back of the arm, it would have been taken more seriously.

    Sorry, this is minor league stuff. I come from Illinois where our governors go to jail. And they're not even the least bit sorry. Jan is a lightweight.

    She jokingly punched the guy in the arm...big deal. McDonald's has burgers on their menu that weigh more than Jan Brewer. Had it been a Dem governor, I'm sure we'd be talking about how great it was that she stood up and defended the NWO...

    @Denizen_Kate If every dude that ever had a snarling woman that punched him in the arm charged with assault, the court system would be REALLY congested and everyone in America would be eating out.
