So you think our leaders allowing our troops to die as they scream for help is ok then? And please do not shoot up any schools or malls like most of the armed liberals have been known to do.

    @Antiecm,
    A) I am angry that the deaths of 4 Americans in the Middle East is causing an act of Congress when we have lost thousands of troops over there.
    B) How dare you make light of the cowardly Newtown massacre. You are sick.

Despite some of the detestable things that liberals said in the George H.W. Bush thread, I will co-sign with you and say that I too wish Hillary a speedy recovery. I look forward to her permanently leaving the public sector and hopefully enjoying a long fruitful private life.

@Neo_NtheMatrix I condemned anyone making hateful remarks in the Bush thread also and am happy to hear that he is out of the ICU. Hopefully he'll be jumping out of airplanes again soon. We all ought to be civil (at least sometimes).

@Neo_NtheMatrix i voted you up even though i don't believe that she should leave the public sector. if she is capable, then she should contend for the presidency. i think that she could, and would do a wonderful job.

interesting info making the rounds. Hillary is not ill. She was on a mission to Iran and her plane crashed. Her blood clot, apparently, is caused by TBI from the crash. IF this is true, why won't the regime release the information about her injuries? This info is being widely disseminated in the MidEast.

I can think of no other First Lady, successful in her own right, despised by so many for no apparent reason but political persuasion and pure jealousy.
I hope Madam Secretary gets well soon.

I couldn't agree more. Give it a rest people, the lack of civility in this country is nauseating. It's not okay to call a mail carrier a mailman but somehow it's fine to wish death on Former President H W Bush, accuse Hillary of making up a potentially deadly medical condition. It's crazy, oh, I hope I didn't offend some lunatic!

@kathyparsell I'm with you on this. There is no need for people to spew such venomous hatred toward former President Bush or Secretary of State Clinton. Grow up haters!

All of a sudden, Republicans started caring about American deaths in the Middle East when 4 Americans died in Bengazi. Give me a break. Partisan spin.

@AlexMIA It was Republican politicians who were so happy to send our armed forces into the middle east with inadequate resources and it was a Republican president who so shamefully hid the coffins from the press as they came home. It was Republican politicians who shun adequate funding for the VA because, afterall, we need "small government," right?(As long as we have enough government to police our own citizens' morality and keep it Christian, of course.)

Unlike with the George H.W. Bush thread, no one is wishing ill will on Hillary. I wish the same respect was shown to Bush, Sr. by liberals as conservatives have shown to Hillary here. It truly is a different world.
  • #23
    !
@Neo_NtheMatrix You know Neo I went back and read the GH Bush thread. There was far less insults and far more respect than is being shown here. How you can read the comments here and claim any respect is being shown for Hilary is some kind of mystery to me.

@jessejaymes - Many posters, including conservatives like me, are wishing for a speedy recovery for Mrs. Clinton. There were those who were wishing for a long painful death for Bush in that thread. If you need me to, I'm pull the quotes for you.
  • #34
    !
@Neo_NtheMatrix Neo I went back and looked at that thread. There are maybe a half dozen comments that might fit your description - nearly all of them from one poster. That out of 179 messages there. @jessejaymes is correct in that there are far more insults on this topic than on the Bush one. I condemn those on both sides posted hateful remarks but honestly I don't see how you can compare the two threads and say that the liberals posted more garbage. In the 34 messages on this thread there is more nastiness already than in the 179 messages on the Bush thread.

I just had a blood clot too I recieved from a injury at work. Doctor said if the test comes back and it is serious (deep vien) you will know it because I will call the ambulance to rush you hospital. If it is not a serious blood clot then we will try blood thinners.
It wasn't a deep vien so He put me on thinners and I didn't miss a day of work.
So I think she will be okay, we hear blood clot and all think the worst, I did. But they're not always to serious.
  • #51
    !
@dances-weebles i wasn't making light of the situation, was just saying based on my experience, it's not always as serious as those without medical experience assume. I know when I heard blood clot, I immediately was thinking, what if it moves? I ain't gonna lie, it was a little un-nerving.

@Thegrif i didn't imagine that you were, and yes, it is a bit scarey to be in a situation like that where you know that there's absolutely nothing that you can do but hope and pray. you were lucky. my best friend just had his second stroke. he's mending, but doesn't know if he'll ever be able to go back to his job as a shipyard welder. he returned to work a couple of weeks ago and thought that he was doing fine, but his team leader noticed that his work wasn't up to par and they pulled him off the job until he's cleared by the doctors again.

    it sucks.

I think it is just another bs excuse. With her and Bill's clout she can be placed in the hospital and a spokesman can say anything. Seems strange that nothing was reported about her going to the hospital for the orginal fall. The hospital or the doctors can not give a statement about. Her due to the hippa laws. So I do not believe any of the fairy tale blood clot. The stomach virus is believeable.

This doesn't change my view of the cynics of any political persuasion who scoff at the illness of public figures or, even worse, hope for the death of another. Those people are already reprehensible.

I do hope the Secretary of State recovers quickly. Blood clots can evolve into strokes without warning.

I think the clinical term for what has happened to her is a "Benghazi."

Before the Obamites and Hillarcrats get up in arms, let me remind you of one of those Kindergarten Stories you were supposed to learn from... "The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf."

When you go through life lying your way out of problems and surrounding yourself with people who do the same, your credibility suffers.

Hillary is on the hook because Suzie Rice went on Sunday Morning shows FIVE days later and LIED; her excuse is that someone gave her the information. That somebody was from Hillary's "crew" that KNEW the truth the same day as the MURDER of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

Da' Prez' blames the State Department for being sloppy in their security procedures.... again blame pointing at Hillary.

Hillary spoke with crocodile tears when the bodies of the five MURDERED Americans were returned to the country and again LIED about the cause of the Attack.

Hillary has stonewalled the question since day one to protect the Axelshaft/Jarrett Junta's reelection campaign.

I think she now realizes that the Junta will push her in front of a subway train without a microsecond of hesitation and her chances of ever interviewing her own intern in the Oval Office are on life support and under ObamaCare her chances of recovery are somewhere between slim and none.

Next we're going to hear about a little known medical event called the Nano-Stroke where only tiny bits of the brain are killed off by a blood clot. The rest of the brain is unaffected and operates normally. Anyone care to guess what part of Hillary's brain is affected? Can you spell Benghazi?

"Brain injury doctors told NBC News said that although details haven't been made public, initial reports indicate that Clinton may have developed a blood clot in her lower limbs as a result of prolonged rest and inactivity after her recent concussion."

I find it hard to accept that a concussion could lead directly to a blood clot in her legs, unless it is from sitting too much since her fall, as the say. Then again, it could be a case of phlebitis that would have occurred independently without any association to her concussion other than the one created to silence her critics.

And in this thread as in the George Bush Sr. thread anyone wishing her or any human being ill, is an arrogant nauseating pile of dung, unworthy of the attention that your flaying about like a 2 year old gets you.

I agree she works very hard. If you go to her website and read all the speeches she's given to other countries, unfortunately you will see quickly that she's not about a Sovereign America. She's about giving billions and billions of dollars to other countries, really big on so called 'women's healthcare'. You and I will work and give to them of the fruit of our labors, probably hidden somewhere in the, now 4,000+ pages of The Patient Affordable etc. Don't we care about Men's healthcare? I do. I have a father, brother, husband, boys and more. Her agenda focuses on the global welfare and not on America's welfare. If you disagree, go read her speeches on her website.

I will do that, and how we can give to other countries when we are broke and dependent on China is beyond me.
Men's health is just as important as women's , they have their own problems with prostate cancer, testicular cancer, etc. I'm the mom of all boys... However, I hate to be so cynical as not to believe she's truly sick and I
do wish her well. Thanks for the info .(:

Women have different health care needs than men. In the past women's health problems were often ignored and women died needlessly because there was no understanding of how an illness affected women because physicians studied male anatomy. One of the largest differences was that women suffer heart attacks quite differently than men. Women often died during childbirth because there was not enough known about the prenatal care for women. Women were often treated by male doctors and thought to be lesser human beings and have nervous traits. Some of this prejudice stills exists today in many faucets.
It is not about less for men's health it is about ensuring that women understand the differences in their bodies than what has traditionally been all about the men and nothing about the women.
I wish nothing but the best for Secretary of State Clinton and hopefully she will be well and healthy soon.

@Granny_Grey I totally agree with you on all you said concerning the past, not all true today, not in America, but we do need a lot more money to help our own who are truly poor. Americans are very charitable no matter what, but less so when govt takes/taxes us and gives it to suit their agenda. A couple of examples of Americans giving are Bill Gates and his wife's Foundation who are helping undeveloped countries by giving vaccines which have saved thousands of lives and Samaritan's Purse which has helped thousands upon thousands of refugees from many war torn countries, including repairing & building damaged homes, giving water purification systems, food distribution, vaccinations, medical care after tsunamis, earthquakes and war in poverty stricken nations and anywhere else help us needed, including the United States. The Samaritan's Purse Intl. Relief people physically go to these places themselves and give aid with the donations we freely give them. This is opposite of handing money forcibly taken from us through taxation then handing it over to foreign greedy government officials who keep the majority of it, giving those in need a small percentage of it. If their governments used our hard earned billions upon billions of dollars to help the people, their people by now would have clean water, food & necessities. The Haitians wouldn't still have so many still living in the streets. The large scope of Hillary giving our money isn't to help all women, it's mainly about cutting back on their populations and pushing abortion.'Women's health' is a govt code word for 'de-population'. I feel that donations and people should work to help others, instead of mandatory taxation that ends up helping a small percentage of the people while enriching government officials. Samaritan's Purse is a tax exempt charity. Bill/Melissa Gates Foundation gives grants from their wealth & other wealthy donors, but it's more complicated than I feel like figuring out right now.

@ChangeNow I understand what you are saying. My reply was to your "Don't we care about Men's healthcare?" We do; however, for so long men were the only ones that were seen as relevant. There was very little research about women before the last hundred years and they are still making discoveries. It appeared that you were being misogynistic. Yes, still in the United States we need a lot of help for women and children. I do not know where you have lived; but, I have traveled very widely in the US living in 11 different states. There is poverty that would surprise you that exists in the US. Take a look at the Mississippi Delta as the ignorance and illiteracy that exists is extremely sad.

I doubt she is suffering as much as the 4 men who were tortured and raped while others tried to figure out how to redirect blame however I wish her a speedy recovery, and I don't feel a bit guilty for thinking it strange she lost her ability to speak, how long has she been mute now, that must have been some concussion, hopefully when her voice returns she will testify, we don't need a reenactment of the tragedy, just her to break her silence

@Ashstop - Unconfirmed and unsubstantiated rumors stemming from one sensationalist report out of Lebanon, and spread like wildfire by extreme right-wing blog sites. Which word did you not understand: reputable or trustworthy?

    @Denizen_Kate
    I am sorry
When I said state run I meant mainstream US media, neither reputable or trustworthy, you are right.
Why would the government of Libya apologize to US through their state run paper publish pictures and explain why he was treated this way? Did you even read the articles? The pictures are on the Internet if you want to see that sort of thing, I regret seeing them myself,
I guess you'd rather keep your rose colored glasses on and believe your reputable and trustworthy source, the ones that said it was because of a youtube movie they can't even watch over there knowing it was terrorist as it happened,( at least intelligence was telling them it was terrorist, like you though, maybe they wear those glasses all the time)
