It's easy to brainwash and manipulate a mas of idiots when their only means of doing anything is believing they came from apes and watching Glee...singing the gay into America...

Yes. He talking bad about our constitution. The first amendment covers citizens of the United States not non citizens

I think his comment as well people giving him any attention, as he is not a citizen, is equally baffling. He should be deported if his ever incites treason or commits an violent felony or threatens the office of president. Any action beyond this, give him a right to express his opinion in a free country! Tune out or write CNN if you don't like him.

@kathyparsell he is not a citizen so the freedom of speech does not apply to him. Non citizens are not covered under the Constitution. I am truly sorry if you have been told different. Just read it. It will explain all.

@scotta You are completely wrong, though I don't expect you ever to admit it. If you are going to claim to support and defend the Constitution of the United States then you must accept the parts that don't suit your liking as well as the parts that you cite in defense of your opinions. Take your own advice and read the Constitution without preconceptions.

1st Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

There is nothing in that sentence that supports your claim. In fact, Mr. Morgan is protected by both freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Much as I dislike his snotty, superior manner, I deny your claim that he does not have the right to speak freely within the United States about our policies.

Know who should really be deported? The people who wanted Morgan deported because of what he said. They demonstrated they don't really understand or value freedom or the free exchange of ideas. Instead they went running to government as though it was Big Daddy and they were little kids who can't stand up for themselves in an adult intellectual discussion. They live in a better country than they deserve, so if we're going to boot anyone out, I think it should be them.(Though really, I think a remedial class in why a free exchange of ideas is important would suffice.)

Then send him to Nancy's place, they can both get drunk and maybe he'll take a 'fall'
and get a concussion, and his memory will be wiped out...then they'll have to take him off the air! lol

While I don't think he should be deported I really hate the sponsor boycott tactic. It used as a back door to silence speech. Why not simply change the channel and let people have their say?
  • #142
    !
    @Buzzfriendly
It's not a back door to silence speech, it's a front door.
    It's... The American Way!

The only ones who aren't allowed to suppress free speech are governments. The rest of us are free to do any legal thing to stop it.

Look at what happened to Limbaugh and what's-his-name, the real lunatic.
Beck... his name was Beck. Whatever happened to him?
  • #146
    !
@harold_lloyd Sorry but I don't subscribe to that line of thought. What you have laid out is the cowards way, not the American way. The American way is to allow everyone to have their say and if you don't like it then be man enough not to listen to it. Not that I listen to them nor am I sure what your getting at about Limbaugh and Beck but apparently it didn't work. Limbaugh is still on the radio as is Beck Limbaugh is #1 Beck is #6 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most-lis... Evidently Beck started his own TV station and is own satellite TV and cable. Perhaps that tactic isn't as effective as you would like to believe.

    @Buzzfriendly
No, the American way is to hear something you don't like and then lynching the perp. But we're working on that...
I can't understand why you think a boycott is unamerican. It's just groups doing what individuals can do. Only with a common cause.

First amendment has nothing to do with the case to deport Morgan. He is promoting the butchery of the U.S. Constitution. The second amendment is not to protect our right too hunt-it is to protect FREEDOM from TYRANNY! Without armed citizens, government WILL overstep it's bounds! in America even with guns in citizens hands, we are overrun by the government.Do people think socialism is the answer? Follow this link then tell me it is

I wouldn't expect them to have the intellectual capacity to comprehend the irony of their action. They invoke the "constitutional rights" of a foreign subject - in order to assist him in his malicious campaign to unlawfully disposess American citizens of their constitutional rights. Makes it clear our public servants are now serving foreign hostiles. But then, we already knew that.

Whether you agree with what Piers said or not, deporting him is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you thought he should have been deported, then you obviously don't believe in the consititution. And if you thought that freedom of speech only applies to US citizens only while they are in this country, then you don't know your constitution very well either.
  • #97
    !
Regardless of what he said - that he is openly engaged in dispossessing American citizens of their constitutional rights, is sufficient grounds to deport him.
  • #123
    !
@bambi33 No it's not as it would violate his first amendment rights... you know... the one that comes before your right bear arms for a well regulated militia.

@MadAmerican 'Guests' have the same rights here as everyone else... would you be ok w/ him telling anybody else to 'shut up' w/ a threat?
  • #155
    !
@AceLuby That's the problem we have now. The guest and illegal immigrants have more rights than the American citizen. He can say whatever as long as he's in his own country. I guess you are OK with outsiders trying to tell you how to live.
  • #158
    !
@MadAmerican Nobody is telling you how to live, but regardless, it's not illegal. Why are you ok w denying people their rights if they disagree with you. It's law of the LAND for a reason.

This clinches it....President Hussein Obama is NOT an American....his birth certificates are frauds and he is in the presidency illegal....probably in this country illegally....
  • #29
    !
Darn tooting...this here president won't deport any illegal because he is in the office illegally...
It's nice when you're a crooked senator and lawyer that plays thuggery chicago politics to get the office and keep it...
How many horses heads has he put on peoples beds to silence them? Or maybe just given them a cell phone?
  • #36
    !
@Knightmare These cell phones are from a program created in the 80s called Lifeline and it was expanded in 2008 by George Bush to include cell phones. There's your "obamaphones". Also the fact that you're still bickering about Obama's citizenship legitimacy pretty much portrays you as a hopeless individual disconnected from reality. I think your break is over, go back to the assembly line.
  • #40
    !
@DrMoonshine President Hussein Obama continued to give cell phones for votes...at the same time I am interested in truth not the lies an ex-thug senator and lawyer bent on reshaping America into progressive liberal socialist police state...in other words...I stand by my statement President Hussein Obama still has NOT proven that he is in the White House legally...now...when you get off the moonshine and can respond in a sober manner...I will be waiting...

No one even thought they would deport Morgan. I do believe he's been here a very long time on a work visa. It's time for him to apply for citizenship. There is such thing as dual citizenship. He can remain a citizen of England while also being a citizen of the US. He would definitely be taken more seaiously when he does shows on his own views of our constitution. As a guest in this country, does he have to pay the same income taxes? I really don't know and would like to. I know there have to be some readers of Polotix that do know. I am not a fan of his, but will not bash him. Everyone has their opinion. He just needs to lead off with "this is my opinion", not pass it off as real news with no bias.
  • #24
    !
If you hold a nonimmigrant visa, you will become a tax resident if you are present in the United States for at least, 31 days during the current year, and 183 days during the 3-year period that includes the current year and the two years immediately before that.
Thus, you will automatically be a tax resident for any year you spend 183 days or more in the United States.

The New World Order is in fact, in charge as we speak. As far as Piers Morgan goes, it will be cold day in hell the day that I care what a judge on a singing show thinks about politics. I mean for Christsake Britney Spears was a judge. Much ado about nothing.
