Yet ,by far, the vast majority of parroted media soundbytes come from the far right people who don't even understand what it is they are parroting...why is that?

This 60% number is about personal popularity. You remember High School? Hell, I don't hate the guy at all. I just disagree with his ideas and his beliefs.

Personally I'd like to have a beer with the dude and ask him how he got to be the way he is.

His numbers are not up. Americans are increasingly waking up to the tyrany going on in the US. This is a misleading figure spoon fed to us by the mainstream media. Can't trust a word they say!

@Happy2BeHere - Name one. I think you're use of the word tyranny is an exaggeration. All politicians lie, and all politicians abuse power. It's why they wanted the job. But unrestrained? I think not.

Someone doesn't know what tyrany is.

Let em ask you a question, if Obama was a tyrant, do you think you would still be alive after making this comment.

Wow the Republicans sure seem to like the polls when there in their favor. I still remember all of those poll quotes followed by their "come on Novembe"! Now they don't like them?? That's confusing? Lol

I think in a non political setting Obama is very personable. I think he's in way over his head and was never qualified to be President but he's a pretty funny guy when he's just being Barak.

I think he would be a great advisor to a president, he is very intelligent. He has very good leadership qualities, but his leadership skills are nil.

Despite what Republifascists want to believe most Americans are in favor of gun control and immigration reform. They like the fact that he isn't letting himself be bullied as much as he was in his first term. Americans voted for the liberal Obama that ran in 08 not the centrist we got in the first term. He's actually acting a bit liberal now and Americans approve.

And the survey says I see BS. If you want to talk about popularity let's if being popular is simply being known then yea I could agree with this article however if what your referring to in your obviously twisted biased articles which either you write yourself or pull from other sites and i'll state again with your BIASED basis of posts Mary Noble, then in fact you would be wrong you seem to think that because you simply say it makes it true, or perhaps simply pulling it from another website yea maybe that will make it that much more valid, when in reality the very people which you try to show as the minority isn't the minority of "The People" it's simply the minority of complacent Americans who still rely on the corrupt biased reporting of the mainstream media and actually go to these sites to vote "You know your target audience, the very people who simply can't think for themselves and do the research themselves so they take what biased reporters like you say at face value."

So congratulations to your biased reporting and posts another day another BS article posted by Mary Noble.. Typical

Mary Noble is clearly a progressive liberal. But she's one of the more interesting of her kind in the things she picks to present to the public. All political web sites are biased and I am a internet vagabond. If I don't know them it's because I've forgotten about them. Politics in America has become like following a professional Sport except there are really only two teams. "Fans" don't play the game, don't get injured (indicted), don't coach (other than the computer chair) and really don't have any say in the outcome. I don't know a thing about Mary Noble other than her profile. But she is clearly the most intelligent of the bunch at Pollitix. My wife had a PHD and I know how hard they are to come by despite all the great unwashed out there who think "edujamication don meks u smert". I think you're being a little harsh on her. She offers better topics than two others I won't mention because it'll just start more problems within their own circle, people being people and I really don't need to get kicked off another site at this moment. Maybe later. Why don't you go over to Faux and give high fives and daps to each other? I'm not a liberal by any means but you're acting like a right wing tea bagger.

    @jessejaymes

Are you daft? How in any sense of the word is this topic in any way "better" than any of the other politix, topics on topix? Guess what when you take one variety of crap from another variety of crap what's that make it? A Whole bunch of Crap the Only reason I had to comment on this topic was because upon seeing the title I had an itching feeling I knew who it was only to find out my suspicions were correct, So I just had to make my 1st amendment inalienable Constitutional Right be heard!

There's a reason my user name is what it is.. it isn't Freedom 1 Freedom 2 or Freedom 3 it is simply Freedom, I don't simply have my name for looks it is what I believe and if Freedom isn't something you value then please by all means leave this country (even though the continual erosion of Freedom is evident and anyone saying it isn't is obviously one of the many complacent sheeple) because Freedom knows no bounds to the extent of one's journey through this life and the choices they make which affect only themselves, Freedom doesn't pick sides Freedom picks Freedom. The Natural born right in which someone was born to do what makes them happy and allows them to pursue means of a spirituality and defend themselves from those that would take that freedom away be it through politics or by force!

    Freedom is Just Simply Freedom!

More people everyday are waking-up to those like Rush, Hannity, and other sophoric and factoid voices from the right.

Glad you said thousands because MSNBC is not a pee in the ocean compared to the main stream conservative owned media that blankets the nation 24/7.

I don't get MSNBC but do get AM/FM radio and ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX/Religion TV which are 90% conservative owned and available to a wide general audience compared to the limited reach of subscription TV.

But to be sure MSNBC is a shill for the left as a response to FOX News which is a shill for the right.

@WMCOL ...the left has many more than MSNBC...have you listened to NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, HLN, CNBC? Radio definitely has more right leaning programming but NPR is leftist and of course gets government funding. Surprise, shock and awe!

Partially. The real thing is Obama is the first prez in history to win on a bad economy and with it he was able to motivate the bottom feeders to vote...many latinos and blacks whom hate whites, to vote for him and "approved whites" (i.e. democrats). That is why I think Biden will not be president. The next logical choice will be a black man or latino man. Still not ready for a woman just yet. Playing that hand in 2016 will backfire. Even the left realizes Hillary is generally worthless and she is too old and sickly.

The economy is in the tank, unemployment is getting no better, job creation is still subpar and the masses still approve of Obama. Why, well, they seem to like getting all those government perks paid for by others. With food stamp use skyrocketing due to relaxed requirements and other buyoff's by the government, why not have a high approval rate? Of course, the fact that the media hasn't said one word about the economy contracting in the last quarter, hasn't said one word about the growth, when we are growing, is an sad 2% or so and that they generally do not report on the failures of this administration, helps too. Most low information voters, rather than looking in their pockets and not finding as much as used to be there, just blithely sail through the day getting their government subsidies and unemployment for almost 2 year after which they go on government disability (due to the stress of not having a job) for the rest of their lives. Not a bad way to live if you are among the uneducated or just plain lazy. You get a stipend to live on, food stamps for the rest, and the ability to visit with friends, go out for a beer, and spend the rest of the day on playstation. What's not to like?

In the United States today, one out of every seven Americans is on food stamps. In fact, the number of Americans on food stamps has increased by a whopping 14 million since Barack Obama entered the White House. All of this makes JP Morgan very happy, because JP Morgan has been making money by the boatload on food stamps. Right now, JP Morgan Chase issues food stamp debit cards in 26 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. The division of JP Morgan Chase that issues these debit cards made an eye-popping 5.47 billion dollars in net revenue during 2010. JP Morgan is paid per customer, so when the number of Americans on food stamps goes up, they make more money. But doesn't this give JP Morgan an incentive to try to keep the number of Americans on food stamps as high as possible? Of course it does. JP Morgan is interested in making money as rapidly as possible. If JP Morgan can get more Americans enrolled in the food stamp program and keep them enrolled in it for as long as possible, that is good for business.

@PayThatCEO LOL - I get what you are TRYING to sell, but J. P. Morgan is not the government, the GOVERNMENT i.e.: Obama, makes the rules about who gets food stamps, it's the government who relaxed the rules to the point that I'll bet I could qualify, after all, I don't have a job and my only income is a little over $500 a month in SS. If the government, i.e. Obama, didn't make the rules that enable J.P. Morgan to reap a profit on food stamps, and I'm a bit skeptical on that claim and intend to verify your post, J.P. Morgan wouldn't be making the profit. I'll get back if I find that this J.P. Morgan information is incorrect.

    !
@PayThatCEO Hmmm, as I expected. I typed in "J.P. Morgan and income from issuing food stamp debit cards." I turned up several left leaning blogs, all of which castigated J. P. Morgan for "making an enormous profit" on said debit cards, they then went on to cite the amounts of money the government sent to J. P. Morgan without mentioning that that money was to cover the COST of the funds on those debit cards, that is, each debit card was worth XXX amount of money, the government paid for it. So far, no big story here in reality. In reality, there are three entities who distribute these debit cards as required by THE GOVERNMENT and one state that does it itself. Again, so far no smoking gun here. J.P. Morgan and other financial institutions were hired to provide these debit cards, were paid for their services and the cards got to the people who qualified for them. Again, no smoking gun. You didn't mention the other "profiteers" of debit cards mentioned, Walmart and Costco - two places where one can purchase needed items at a better price than the local ACME. So, unfortunately I reject your post as just propaganda and unfounded propaganda at that. J. P. Morgan and the other institutions simply do a job, they in no way screen or decide who or how many people qualify for these debit cards, your statement "But doesn't this give JP Morgan an incentive to try to keep the number of Americans on food stamps as high as possible?" has no basis in reality. And the net revenue you mentioned..........well, that was the money sent by the government to cover the amounts given to these cards plus a handling fee, no big deal and your figure is not the PROFIT J.P. Morgan made, but the money that came into the bank to cover the amounts given on each card. The following quote from The Daily Beast says it quite well:

"Just how lucrative JP Morgan’s EBT state contracts are is hard to say, because total national data on EBT contracts are not reported."

"These contracts are transactional contracts, meaning they are amendable based on changes in program participation. Each month, the three companies that administer EBT receive a small fee that can range from $.31 to $2.30 (or higher depending upon the number of welfare services on an EBT card and state contractual requirements) for each SNAP recipient."
