Quite the product of the media of your time, aren't you. justa soundbyte with no factual backing and you probably thought that was witty, huh?

I agree completely... if she was actually doing some good, instead of pushing her and ObamaNations (Abominations) socialist agenda... it wouldnt bother me.. .but unfortunately..that is not the case..

Why criticize her travel now after 4 years? Haven't they been paying attention to success/failure? This is kinda like closing the barn door after the horses are out. Leave it alone and watch Kerry.

Everything this administration has had to be accountable for is all 'after' the fact...how
    very convenient!

@thejimbo To a point, yes, but I don't remember ever having a government that is so closed and appears to do everything behind the backs of Americans...way too
many secrets for me...Benghazi, is just the tip of the iceberg, time will tell, unfortunately,'that' will be after the fact also. Pathetic state we're in...

Another issue I DON'T CARE. My god has it come to this? No matter who is in office the other side spends four years carping, sniveling and whining. I don't give a damn. Got it?

it would have been nice if any of those detracting statements...or tweets, not really statements... had been factual or contained a point...

We didn't have an ambassador and 3 others die? We had all kinds of treaties signed and issues solved? I'd say they were spot-on. Just going places doesn't do anything.

@Hireman As demonstrated by Condoleeza Rice's 1,006,846 miles travelled as Secretary of State? Or the fact that during Rice's tenure we had our embassies attacked at least 4 times?
"I remember very well that the president was aware that there were issues inside the United States. He talked to people about this. But I don't remember the al Qaeda cells as being something that we were told we needed to do something about." sound familiar? It's not testimony about Benghazi. Here's a hint, they went on to discuss a document titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States"
It's to funny that double standard that exists in a country where most can only see A or B and Us vs Them. Divided we fall, indeed.

@frigginhell What does Rice have to do with my comment? Furthermore, how many Ambassadors were killed despite repeatedly ignored requests for more security under Rice?
  • #87

@Hireman How many died on 911 despite warnings and evidence of a conspiracy to attack?
To answer your question 1 ambassador. Now I'd like to know does 1 ambassador count more than the other americans that died under the previous administrations? Not just Obama and bush but all of them. Because, fyi, we get attacked far more often with far higher casualties under the gop. Just one of those facts you're more than welcome to check. You can take 911 off the table and work back to Carter and the GOP still wins hands down in the number of attacks on our foreign embassies and the numbers of americans killed on their watch.
As for your statement and what Rice had to do with it, I was drawing a parallel to show that by your standard number of miles travelled = results of a successful secretary of state, then by any measure Clinton is an improvement over the last couple of clowns.

I despise her on a personal level. I got along fine with Bill Clinton. Hated his politics but liked him personally. HATE her. Have since 82. She is the meanest human I've ever met.

@woodtick57 I've met her numerous times. We had words once and I won't speak to her anymore. It's been years. And yes I know them. In this part of the state we have quite a bit of political pull. I've known all the governors on some level since dale Bumpers.

Its amazing how people worship the Clintons and Obamas as they continue to raise taxes and spend our money like theres no tomorrow with their MANY lavish vacations and shoping sprees. Seems like everyone just swept it under the rug when Bill & Hillary were moving out of the Whitehouse and took along priceless furniture thats been in the WH for 120 years. REMEMBER THAT? If a republican president ever did that the liberal media would still be making it major news.

No wonder government spending is out of control. They have 10-15 security gaurds, private jets, private limo, and why can't they use video conferencing? Our country is broke but they won't cut their toys, but they don't even blink when it comes to taking food off your table.

i see no reason for us to pay for any such travels all meeting can be done over the computer costing next to nothing and it is safer than and a heck of alot cheaper with all the security and other things that have to go along with it.

face to face meetings in this day and time is a waste.

You clearly dont know how diplomacy works or, have any interest of the outside world. Seriously, what you are saying is very ignorant and you are clearly oblivious to anything outside of where you live.

In some cultures, its perceived as an insult to not meet face to face, escpecially diplomacy. Diplomacy isn't about being cheap. Its about meeting face to face with other people and hammering relations out. If you dont go out and meet other people, those people will think you aren't taking them seriously. And its not about being safe either. THats why there is tight security at these meetings.

@Starsplash i know how it works and you are right i do not care about anything outside the USA,neither do i think tax dollars should be wasted on it. then looking at some of the places she has gone then trouble starts soon after.

culture like when when clinton covered her head and walked behind obama as she was a trained dog with her head down.or when we have to be tolerant of others who want to kill us?
    oh and
our own country has gotten so screwee up all in office need to work on their own before trying to fix another. i also know that we have armed others to over throw their gov while she and others work to disarm us.

i am against all globalization crap.

One of the worst Secretary of States in history, involved in a major lie and screw up who mysteriously had a bad thing happen before she could get summoned by Congress to answer for yes another Obumble screw up and cover up Benghezi.

To use that much taxpayer money, she should have to give an account as to what she did, and what she accomplished, as do most of us at our jobs.

Obviously you possess zero comprehension of what diplomacy is all about
. very sad the total lack of knowledge of international relations demonstrated here. I speak with a modicum of knowledge having managed operations in China, Taiwan, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Kenya, Peru and Ecuador

Not showing up in person is perceived as a severe insult in most cultures. Perhaps someday diplomacy can be accomplished electronically, but we're not there yet.
