Now that's just silly. While obysmalcare is an anchor around the necks of businesses and everyday Americans, I would never go so far as to trivialize the Holocaust in order to express how devastating obysmalcare will be. obysmalcare, and this is in the words of the SCOTUS, is nothing more than another tax being levied on the American people as punishment for being successful. Sheryl Nuxoll, we must continue to fight obysmalcare at every turn we can, but leave the fiery rhetoric out of this battle.

@Stepped_In_It,@jessejaymes,@c heenoguy,@PoliticalSpice,@PNWe st,@Denizen_Kate - Here you go. I'm criticizing a Republican. Are you happy? You claim I never do so. LIARS!

    Did your account get hacked?

1 time out of 1000, however, does not make us liars. You defend the stances of every crazy Republican but this one no matter how ridiculous. In 6 months this is the first time you took a reasonable stance that I didn't 100% agree with, but at least you were being reasonable. This is the first time I have seen you criticize a Republican who wasn't speaking critically of the party or voicing even minor commendation for the president.
If last season someone said "the Kings never win the cup" they aren't now liars just because they finally did.

@Fishbone345 - I rarely see you hurling criticism at me. Consider yourself educated as well if you are one of the ones that claim I'm partisan.

you are right because they are the only ones held accountable for this kind of rhetoric even though the dems are far far worse. But hey that is acceptable. blah blah blah

@cleverusername don't agree only repubs are held accountable. But want victory in 2014 by any means necessary. Say what you please, I won't quibble over details. Indeed I want republicans to say what they please! I'm counting on it!

since the rhetoric from the left is thick as ever racist nazis hillbillies baggers etc etc etc then I guess I wont be hearing from those regulars on here that use that garbage hate-filled bigoted stuff on a daily occurrence chime in on this subject because the would have to check themselves and their false idols that they echo.
As for me I think this kind of rhetoric needs to stop from everyone.

This is what it means to be conservative. We don't want vile offensive political discourse from anyone. Too bad the liberals of this nation don't see it that way.

You have to remember what state she is from. "Idaho, where burping in considered a competitive sport". Ever see Napoleon Dynamite, it's pretty accurate. I have actually
    driven thru that town.

@Knightmare When the government opens concentration camps, then you can call it relevant. Or when the government suggests anyone not a member of the master race should be exterminated. Or when the government starts a war with the expressly stated intention of world domination. Till then, stop insulting the people who fought against the Nazi regime. It's insulting to millions of people who DO know what the Nazis actually did and stood for and it's embarrassing for the dolts who fling the word around carelessly because they don't.

Intresting, I had never heard of Godwins Law before, so I looked it up, Hmm maybe there is something to that.
Personally, I think Obama is helping insurance companies by forcing everyone to have insurance, of course it may just be cheaper to not have health care insurance and pay the penalty.
Hitler was Hitler, Obama is a whole nother story.

@Knightmare He said we are a nation of immigrants. If you're not going to listen to what he has to say, don't try to criticize it and most definitely do not haul the Nazis into the conversation.

Idaho republican and State Senator Sheryl Nuxoll is just another right wing racist hoping to get her name in the news with their xenophobic views to run for vice President. As she screams pick me, pick me

@Raptor I guess the fact that Idaho has a larger population of a certain Neo Nazi group than other states is offensive somehow?

Why not have a safety net(not an entitlement) for people who have true financial for health care BUT ban insurance?
Insurance means in the long term you ultimately wind up paying more on average than if you just paid for it with your own money when it happened. It also means that the thing paid for costs more money. The price is increased because the insurance company has more money to pay with. And then the insurance company wants to make more money so even when something happens they reach for any clause in the contract to avoid payment or reduce payment.
Health care prices, car prices, home prices, would all be a lot cheaper if it wasn't for insurance.
If you can afford it without losing your house(doesn't count if you own a mansion and have to demote yourself to a regular house), sacrificing your other medical needs, sacrificing your children's education then you should just pay for it. If you can't then you should pay what you can and the government should pick up the rest and then you should pay back if possible.
We need a market in healthcare to prevent bureaucracy and inefficiency and have a working price system. But we don't need a wasteful, exploitative industry based on betting against yourself to profit off of people, make everything more expensive, and take money away from the productive sectors of the economy. People do need some guarantee that if they don't have the money they won't just be SOL especially with their health, but the cheaper more effective way is to have a government safety net(but not total government coverage).

My people might be able to afford some basic medical procedures if health insurance did not exist. Acquiring health insurance is not practical for those of us that can afford the monthly premiums. None of us have any hopes of being able to pay annual deductibles. We are left to take care of those medical needs that we have the knowledge to take care of on our own. Most of you will not understand what I'm trying to say.

Reread my suggestion. I'm suggesting the government pay out of the general fund (not a separate insurance policy) when people truly can't afford it. Otherwise you pay on your own.

    We'll see what's in the bill....bwaaahahahahahah....co ugh-cough....um....
You'll be able to keep your same doctor, it will save money, it will make healthcare affordable, no of course Obamacare doesn't support abortion, those aren't death panels....IRS figures out the cost a different way and many people just MIGHT NOT afford it after all....{IRS enforced}....

Since when did helping people who can't afford private insurance become "socialism"? Are the people who have a disability which affects their income just supposed to "work harder"? Note: not everyone can work at the same pace and earn the same income.

This is why I laugh at my stupid fellow Americans I'm Truly ashamed of all the stupid idiots in this country... obamacare is nothing like the holocaust so comparing them just shows how much of an idiot you people are todays republicans are so stupid they allowed 9/11 to happen started two pointless wars that we lost then crashed the economy in the process of waging wars then they try everything they can to stop a recovery from a mess their policy's created and yet they still have millions of idiots out their clapping their hands like seas begging for fish asking for more

Comparing anything to the Holocaust is very touchy. But I don't see the insurance companies hurting. I have tried to find in the legislation how it would help me. I have SLE lupus. I was booted off my husbands insurance by a legal loophole. I cannot find affordable insurance with a pre-existing condition like this. Through all the mumbo-jumbo, I cannot find where the insurance companies still cannot charge an astronomical premium and still make me pay that amount for 12 months before they will cover me with extremely high deductibles and excluding paying for some of the medical care I need. Also the percentage out of pocket is much higher! All they are required to do is accept me. That is no different than it is right now, except more money will be taken out of my husband's pay and I will be "taxed" for not having the insurance I so badly need! Let's call a spade a spade, this is not a tax, it is a fine or penalty if you may, It does not match the definition of a tax. We don't know how high that fine may be or how many times they can make us pay it. So I wonder, where is the money going that is going to be taken out of my husband's pay?

Correct me if I am wrong, but wont the insurance companies pick up 30-40 million new paying customers when Obamacare ( which is more actually Romneycare) becomes implemented?

I think if my party ever wants to recover from becoming the "Party of the Stupid" then they are going to have to take every politician running as a Republican and give them a basic history class so they know who Hitler was and the scope of the Holocaust. Then if there is time there should be a basic class on female anatomy and a penalty for any party member that talks about rape other than saying they are against it. 30 years ago the Republican party had intelligent great thinkers and now they have the Teabaggers, a group of people that couldn't wipe their behinds without reading the instructions on the package.
