People said Romney was a man all about money and moving jobs overseas for profits, and all that other liberal leftist b.s. smear campaign. How much money did Mr. "I love the world" obama give to Red Cross? I bet his campaign didn't give $90K. If they did, best believe it would have been everywhere because the obama would have been bragging about it.

Romney - generous with his own money
obama - generous with the hard working taxpayer's money

One other point....President Hussein Obama wasn't all that quick to help Hurricane Sandy victims....or get the congress to get it in gear....

It actually took longer than Katrina....

Oh well, Romney can do good on the outside....better even....

"Romney - generous with his own money
obama - generous with the hard working taxpayer's money "

Nail on head. Obama loves to take money for not doing anything and loves to take from those that do and give it out elsewhere and take credit for it. It is and always has been about king obama.
For the lefties they just hate that Romney created and was a working man and was very generous and overall a great guy. It kinda goes against the division they want by means of class and race. They had to destroy him even if it meant lying, especially if it meant lying.

I don't remember anyone accusing Romney of not being generous. His charitable giving spoke for itself before the election.

The problems I had with Romney had a lot to do with character. And the things that he said during the campaign.

Opps, hit the vote up button on accident, but I will say, good for the people who need it...I fear though $90,000 for him is nothing but a small pittance, not like he made some big sacrifice, tossing pennies to todays peasant class...easier to sleep that way maybe.

Romney's a class guy. If the Toad hadn't lied for him in the 2nd debate he might be President right now. Naw, I doubt it. Too many pot smokers and drug heads on welfare. All Obama supporters. Country going to hell in a hurry.

Three months after Hurricane Sandy ravaged much of the Northeast, Congress finally approved $50.5billion in emergency relief which now simply awaits President Barack Obama’s signature.

    {Well, it looks like he donated $50.5 billion of taxpayers....that is other peoples....money....I said looks like because has anyone heard if he actually signed it yet....anyway....nice of him to donate his....er....um....our money....}

Look , another loaded up , biased post with few choices to answer. Knock Romney if you want - look at his past records of refusing salaries . Don't give me the crap , he's a millionaire - there are more than enough millionaire liberal Democrats too & they suck up every buck that comes near them . The past proves that nearly all groups donate more money than the new-age lib-socialist Democrats. Socialists always have so much to say what 'others' should be doing with their money.

You'll remember from recent news that spending must originate in the House, and the Republican Speaker of the House was all set to adjourn without authorizing the Sandy funds until shamed into action by Republican New Jersey governor Chris Christie.

@DARSB why was the Speaker of the House set to adjourn? The problem is that there was a lot of pork projects in the bill that had nothing to do with the victims of Sandy....Republicans asked that these be removed and would not sign any bill that was sending money to other places than the Sandy victims. Please report the whole story because if you don't you start resembling CBS, CNN, and MSNBC.

@freebirdie hmm... Speaker Boehner initially had no intention of taking up disaster relief before adjournment. I think that's the proper response to @MadAmerican's charge that the President dragged his feet on disaster relief.

As for your point, who do you suppose is in charge of the Republican-dominated House of Representatives and thus the contents of each bill?

@DARSB Waaa this republican waaa that republican. The president is in charge of the entire country and had an excellent chance here to show he cared about Americans. If he hadn't been so busy going on vacation and signing 23 executive orders on a knee jerk reaction to gun control that meant absolutely nothing, then he could have been a leader instead of the doushbag he is!

Every one seems to forget that the money was not his, he did not give one red cent of his money, as he could not keep it legally.

@DARSB - I did think 'different' but I just lacked the command of the English descriptive that you have. Thanks. He's OK in my book.

It is amazing the lies from the left and what is more amazing is how pathetic and shallow voters are who believe the lies from the Democrats when they labeled Romney as some kind of monster. Can the Democrat party get any more dirty and corrupt in order to win elections? This just shows you the power of the media and when our free press takes sides with the Democrats, they can make stupid voters believe anything.

Romney is a jerk and his wife is stuck up,and a he is a puppet for the right wing the GOP has sold out to corperate America, and the list goes on.

"Romney Campaign Quietly Gave $90,000 to Red Cross After the Election",well big deal, my husband said all it is is all propaganda, and he is absolutely right.

@MrsM Your husband said? So...you're not allowed to have opinions of your own? And how exactly is doing it months after he had any shot at political prominence on the level of the President propaganda?

Mitt Romney has NEVER publicized the good works he does. It's not part of his culture to do so, nor does he need the ego-boost. It's just not part of his mindset to "toot his own horn". It's always been others who have spoken about his generosity as a person. The fact that we re-elected a blow hard who takes credit for everything, whether he was involved or not, while placing blame for faults on everyone else, rather than a person far more humble, and who takes responsibility for his actions, says a lot about what we've become as a nation.
