    @OhWiseOne Sorry, you only get to call Marion - Rep Waters was not convicted of any crime and her ethics investigation cleared her of wrongdoing.

    @DARSB That's fine. I think the re-election of a crackhead pretty much sums up the intelligence of your average Democrat. Enjoy.

    @TheJimmy Let's not forget about William Jefferson from Louisiana who hid money in a freezer. LOL! Gotta love those Obama zombies.

    Well, we can see that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree in the Jackson family. Especially when the tree is fertilized by Chicago crap.

    It isn't just Chicago. From the governers who've gone to jail to the local corruption in East St. Louis and St. Clair county, the state is a cesspool.

    @Thunderchicken Yeah, its pretty bad, as is East Cape. I know people that wont go over there at all, not that theres much there anymore.....

    @thatgirl

    It kinda sounds like East St. Louis. When I was younger (70's & 80's) the east side wasn't near as bad as it became in the late 80's. I'm lucky that I don't have to go there very often.

    "Why do you think criminal politicians and Chicago seem to go together?" This title for the voting strikes me funny...considering the current POTUS is from Chicago...would this not infer he is a criminal politician...

    Nevertheless, Junior got his hand caught in the cookie jar and admitted it and is getting punished for it...it just dumbfounds me Chicago voters re-elected this guy when these allegations were hanging over his head...ignorance is bliss...

    I've been watching the latest scandals of politicians breaking the law and Democrats are certainly winning the game of corruption.

    "It's just sad,cause I know so many people who are above this kind of corruption but NONE of them are Politicians.." There is a lot of meaning to that statement.

    The way politics is nowadays, tear down and demean and lie about your opponent, tear down and demean his family and look for any little bitty tiny supposed infraction and magnify it, decent, caring and capable men and women would rather take a beating than run for office. No one is perfect 100%, we all have at least one goofy or odd thing in our past, and that is what the cadre of seekers will search out and exploit to death to bring down an opponent. Look at Romney and the Dog on the Roof, in reality, no big deal, but let the press and all take it and run with it and it turns into a big deal and a point of derision that can be exploited forever, rather than focus on the merits or non-merits of a candidate. No, good decent people won't bother to run, it's not worth the pain to self and family. Too bad, I know many who would do a really good ethical job.

    I know a lot of other areas that are troublesome as well. When you try to pin all the blame on only one place, new problematic areas
    Start to pop up.
