@zachsquatch anyone who deface the mural of a president would most likely be willing to kill someone who caught them doing it. I detested GW Bush. I would never deface a mural. I might not eat there. I might spit on the sidewalk but that mural is private property. You do support the sanctity of private property right?

@jessejaymes it's a large leap from defacing a mural to killing people....jump to conclusions much???

@RoFroh Actually it's not. IDIOTS shoot people on the street. IDIOTS deface Murals. And idiot is not bound by restraint. This is not the work of gangs or the work of "liberals". This is the work of racist crackers who are very willing to tell you what they're going to do with their guns when the big "race wars begin". Not a leap at all.

It doesnt matter what your political view is. It is wrong to deface someone elses property. Point Blank Period. Even if you disagree with President Obama's policies people need to respect his position as Commander in Chief. He was elected once again. Majority rules. Get over it.

No and the people that defaced republicans pictures are just as bad. Two wrongs never make a right. I'm guilty of it too.

Yes!! It's totally wrong! I misspoke. Republicans pictures have been defaced also. And neither is right. Two wrongs don't make a right. I meant I am guilty of the two wrongs thing. We need to stop doing that too. I hit send on that post by accident.

@PNWest I do not like him at all! But he is the President and I respect the office. If you notice I try to only criticize his policies and official statements. I try.

Let's see....in my lifetime I have seen Carter billboards painted up to look like Alfred E. Neuman; Reagan billboards painted up as clowns and Hitler; Bush Sr billboards painted with Nazi symbols; Clinton billboards defaced with "white stains" and "dripping cigars" painted on them; Bush Jr billboards defaced with white paint under his nose and "Got Coke" painted or painted like a monkey....this is nothing new.

@miketost - The mentality is always the same. Destroy and insult rather than discuss and find common ground. It's just embarrassing to me as a human being.

I've seen cartoons of political figures that denoted certain sentiments, but not billboards. It takes a serious nut to climb up on a billboard and do damage.

He is the president and deserves respect, whether you agree with his policies or not. Some people really need to get a life!

I notice progressive leftists and their adaptive morals are out today. There were 4 cases of vandalism, in 5 years, in a city of over 2.1 million. Of course this now must reflect badly on every Republican (as if it must have been a Republican).

P.S. some homeless person defaced the Bush statue in the same city 4 years ago.

The defacing of this mural is truly sad. What sore losers. I didn't vote for the President either time but this is sad. It also isn't very news worthy...sorry Politix..pretty lame.

I was on a college campus and saw several spray painted GWB signs with crosshairs on his head. There are idiots on both sides, but with that said, I'd happily take my morning stinky piss on this mural to our lord and savior.

"I'd happily take my morning stinky piss on this mural to our lord and savior. " - Well you certainly are one of the idiots on the right.

We have a long history of "defacing" politicans images. Remember when the left was burning McCain/Palin in efegy in '08. Americans aren't as principled or as well parented as we once were and these disgusting things are just getting worse.

Who freaking cares? Sycophants from both sides DO THIS ALL THE TIME. What's next, laws against defacing a picture of a politician? When that happens, the regime is about to fall.

well first of all, i would inform the owner. that i would never, eat at his resturant becaue of his arrogant disreguard the other parties. the painting is, publicly in appropiate and insensitive. especially now, that it has become a matter of gloating and rubbing it in. but would have the same reaction, with that of a giant picture of stalin, mao tse tung, or adolph hitler. this nation is already multi-polarized enough, without flagrantly adding to it. obama has not helped, unify this nation. so therefore i accept seperation, of obam and state. and i am not even, a republican or other party. and can see the damage, obama has done. we used to all be americans, now were not even all that anymore. and dividing our country, into hispanic, black, white, christian, muslem or jewish, is going in an anti-american way. this is no longer even, one nation under G-D anymore. and the more you untruly divide my FATHER'S House, the more dangerous it's idolatry is going to get.
