obama has denigrated the wealthy, but now he is selling access to himself for $500k? This is beyond corruption. The obamabots will try to defend this and say that it isn't corruption. Could you imagine if a Republican blatantly said that for half a million dollars I will sit down and meet with you? Oh, but supposedly it is the Republicans that are the party of the rich. Wake up sheep, open your eyes. The Democrats don't love you.

"Pay to play," is the game and Obama and his leftist administration no longer feel its necessary to prevaricate elaborate cover-ups for their actions. The Obama administration past successes in operating a rogue presidency has emboldened them to the point of not even making the effort any longer to deny anything they might do or want to do.
"The history of failure..."...." can be summed up in two words: Too late. Too late in comprehending the deadly purpose of a potential enemy; too late in realizing the mortal danger; too late in preparedness;too late in uniting all possible forces for resistance; too late in standing with one's friends."Douglas Mac Arthur
Is this what the American citizens in the future will say, "Too late...."

Hey Obamas the cheapest president in history if he were republican he would charge at least 1million to get into bed with him he's not the only president to do this and he won't be the last but geez why would his own guy say something like that
  • #74
Obama is worth Millions now, so I'd say he's part of the rich he supposedly hates, and getting richer everyday, while American's get poorer.

Once again, defrauding the political process. When Obama was first elected I was willing to give him a chance. Well, we see what he is. He disgusts me.
  • #58
I voted for Obama the first time and he made a complete fool of me for trusting him with the power of Office.

Disgusting but not surprizing. It's the Chicago way. Just one more line item on the list of impreachable offenses committed by this man. Just one more offense ignored or trivialized by the sycophants in the mainstream state controlled media.
  • #50
@drpeeper I'm disappointed to say the least. Except for some social issues he's pretty much continued the Bush Empire. What's even worse is that the next guy will probably continue it as well.
  • #57
@AceLuby Or Woman. I know this as a conservative, Hillary will probably win. That will continue even bigger meet and greets for cash. While the media looks the other way- or the story vanishes. I do know had a non Democrat done this, the questions would be asking "In a recession is this really a good thing to do" Or "How many starving kids could be fed for that 500K.........." and on and on.

Those are questions that should be asked to this president- but they wont. Truth to power is dead until a non Democrat takes office. That's the modern reality.
  • #59
@drpeeper 'non Democrats' have been doing this for years. It's one thing in DC that's bipartisan.

And let's not even get started about what questions are asked of the different parties. Millions spent on Clinton's blowie, ignoring everything else, no investigation about the rampant in your face corruption in the Bush admin, and now a big push from the right into investigating Benghazi. There's your 'modern reality'.

I figure Barry already did the name change thingy a few times so next step is to just make a new Symbol name like Prince or a good rapster name like OG-P and then tickey prices will go through the roof... I was thinking he could go the Fiddy Cent way and change his name to OGBuckNaQuarter....

The most corrupt, secretive, racist, evil president that this country has ever known will go down in history as the worst ever choice this country has made. We can only hope that the country can survive and recover after Obama is through with us.
  • #24
This is a disgusting part of the way politics work in this country. Wonder why Obama never prosecuted the banksters?
  • #38
@hankf68 Obama failed America in not throwing the banksters responsible for the sub-prime mess in jail. I make no excuses for this.

It's a disgrace that has been happening for decades. Every president has been part of these "pay for access" things and it's why I think we need forensic accountants and all money taken out of politics. Pay the President $5 million a year and congress $1 million a year, anyone caught taking money, favors or any compensation should be executed as a traitor.
  • #41
Why so much? THEY are the ones calling it 'public service.$30000.00 for Pres.$25000.00 per congressman. No pensions, insurance, lobby $. And divest of all investments. If One penny more is attributed to the family- during their term - or 20 years after- it is taken by the gov't.
  • #14
Wow too bad we can't run the power grid off of hypocrisy. If we could then we could just hook Obama up to the wall and power most of the US.

He hates the rich and rails on them at every opportunity, but he sure loves taking their cash and rubbing shoulders with them. He himself is richer than most Americans will ever dream of being.
  • #60
Maybe the Press can buy access to Obama if they pay $500,000. He has given less press access than any Prez in modern history. Just canned puff interviews by the cowards on NBC and CNN.

The only way to save us now is for Democrats to MAN UP and reign in Obama's Orwellian madness.

The left speak out against their king? Never! Unlike the right the left won't eat their own. That takes principles.

This is absolutely abysmal and unfortunately, par for the course for politicians. When will people be fed up w/ the money surrounding politics and say enough is enough? Just goes to show who is really represented in DC... and it isn't the likes of you or me.
  • #15
When people stop falling for the bullshit party line rhetoric (both sides) is when people will be fed up enough to stop voting for idiots (on both sides) who do this.
  • #5
There is no need to even discuss this blatant buying of the presidency. Heck, poor Clinton got reamed for his Lincoln Bedroom fiasco, this is sort of renting out the entire White House and having the highest donors being advisers (God help us!) to the president. Jeeze, his cabinet looks like a frat house line up and now the guy with the deepest pocket is going to sit and "Advise" the president? I sure don't remember electing them.
  • #65
Regardless of who is in the White House or what party is in the White House - this does nothing but portray the presidency as nothing more than a 'high class prostitute ! Period

"I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more than any other candidate in this race to take on lobbyists — and won. They have not funded my campaign, they will not run my White House, and they will not drown out the voices of the American people when I am president."

That was pathetic, if they're going to play those stupid little games this isn't what it seems even though it really is they need to give that asshole a better script to follow.
