    @Knightmare - "was Secretary Of State Kerry excusing progressive liberals?" I dunno. Are you referring to a particular comment he made about progressive liberals? If you are referring to this specific article, I think he was defending the right to free speech of all Americans, regardless of their political persuasion.

    @Knightmare - Yeah, I didn't read anything partisan in that comment. I think he was right too. we have the right to say stupid things... and I'm glad of that because sometimes I do! LOL

    did you know:
    2/3 of all the lawyers in the world live in the u.s.a.
    American children get more than 64 billion dollars a year in pocket money.
    Americans are more than twice as likely to die from liposuction than in a car crash.
    10113 American virgins insured themselves against giving birth to the messiah at the turn of the millennium.

    And you say that John Kerry is wrong to say that Americans have the right to be as stupid as they want to.

    In the words of Charles Lachman, the problem with America is that there are too many wide open spaces... surrounded by teeth.

    thank you for proving him correct.

    IF YOU VOTED FOR HANOI JOHN FONDA KERRY then you’re a flaming dumbass and should be driven out of the USA forever. Especially since the TRAITOROUS conduct of Hanoi John Fonda Kerry was WELL-KNOWN!

    Recently flip-flops and screw ups by Obama’s nominee to take over for the Pig-in-a-Pantsuit who thinks she has a chance in 2016.(Sorry Lardass but Dumbo blew it for you and we’re all tired of hearing about you dodging sniper fire in Bosnia!)

    As reported in the BRITISH PRESS as the Liberal Lapdog Media IGNORES anything that makes The Kenyan Master of Disaster look bad:

    I think a lot of people are misconstruing what John Kerry said....his point is that all Americans have the right to open there pie hole and say any dumb crap that comes to mind without fear the government will imprison or kill .....but you must remember that some speech will get a mud hole stomped in your a&@, and while being a wrongful criminal act doesn't pay your hospital bill.

    And John Kerry proves the point by opening up his mouth. Ah, we have "I was for it, before I was against it", "Americans have a right to be stupid", and I wonder what other pearls of wisdom this bitter, washed-out politician will let fly out of his mouth. If he thinks exhibiting contempt for his fellow Americans will endear him to foreigners, he is badly mistaken.

    And you are the poster boy Kerry. And I know he must also be talking about the millions who voted for Barry, not once but twice. Like Jim White from KMOX used to say "you can't fix stupid".

    I think "stupid" better applies to those who voted for Bush, not once, but twice, as well as those who voted for Mittens.

    @Keyjo #1- I don’t acknowledge Hershey highway travelers
    #2 - I don’t acknowledge atheists
    #3 - Didn’t you understand me a month ago either?
  • #115

    @ST_Louie_Sue
    A month ago!? I wouldn't likely recall anything you said last week. No offense, but you aren't all that memorable and/or relevant.
    As far as traveling, if you live in Missouri, what do care about a highway in Pennsylvania!?
  • #120

    @ST_Louie_Sue
    Well, I don't know. Maybe I am not abundantly sharp, but I do know that the Hershey Company is in Hershey, Pennsylvania, so it would stand to reason that's where the Hershey Highway would be.
    If I am wrong, you can correct me without being incredibly rude!

    Freedom of speech. Freedom of Expression. If anything has enabled human societies to emerge from the age of ignorance it is the ability to freely express and exchange ideas without fear of government reprisal. Freedom does not guarantee right or wrong, but at least you can be wrong (or stupid), or hold an unpopular position and have your right to think that way protected. Popular ideas do not need protection, unpopular ones do. This freedom releases the human potential in all of us.

    John Kerry: "Americans Have a Right to Be Stupid" and just what does this bumbling fool explain is stupid?
    I have never liked Mr. Kerry, He tossed his own fellow veterans under the bus.
    and I have always thought that "Was indeed" very stupid of him to do.
    Swiftboating Kerry!!! What he believes is stupid as a POS socialist democrat is stupid, Most likely wouldnt seem stupid to a majority of other people.
    It would be best if this very wealthy liberal just kept his None Tax paying cheating mouth shut!!!

    We aren't stupid just because we didn't vote for you. My candidate didn't win the election either. I didn't vote for you, John "Ketchup" Kerry, because you are one of just sooooo many arrogant, elitist, money-grubbing (and in YOUR case, gold-digging), stuffed shirts taking up space in Washington D.C. When you set foot abroad, in countries that don't necessarily have a high opinion of Americans, of course they won't disagree with you. What country is Kerry representing again?

    Just what we need, a man who married wealth and now thinks he can insult Americans. Wonder how far he would have gotten without his wife's wealth and influence. The Ketchup SOS.

    @earl Er... he hardly "insulted Americans." He was explaining to Germans why America lets folks like the neo-Nazis have rallies. Your two comments, otoh, hardly make the IQ level of this nation look good.

    He's been Secretary of State for less than a month. I seriously doubt Kerry is the reason America is laughed at.
    The world started laughing at us when Congress decided investigating blow jobs was more important that combating terrorism.

    I find this amusing. Right wingers who are going to slam Kerry no matter what he says are slamming him for doing the very same thing they are doing. Exercising his first amendment rights. LOL Ya gotta love the far right. The group in America run by billionaires and followed by hicks with virtually nothing in between.
  • #39
    !
    @LGRepublican Actually i would agree with YOU had you of said what Kerry said. According to the left most the right is stupid and according to the right most the left is stupid and according to me most of America is stupid so I agree with Kerry and I would have agreed had Bush of said exactly the same thing.

    Jesse, I have to tell you I'm dissappointed. I have been watching this site for a couple months now but just recently got an account. You are one of the people I truly respect on here because you don't just follow party lines. You look at an issue objectively and argue your position, which is not set, with rational, reasonable arguments. Then today you lower yourself to namecalling by calling the far right "billionares and hicks". You don't make generalizations like this and it surprises me you went there.
  • #54
    !
    @MontanaJD What would you call it? The far left is the party of Billionaires and WIMPS. I call it like i see it.
  • #56
    !
    now, that being said, you are correct. The far right is going to tear him apart no matter what. The first amendment is there to be used and abused by people at every point in the spectrum, usually to tell the people on the other end of that spectrum how wrong they are.

    Most people are stupid and with the internet they use their right to free speech by spewing the most ignorant easily destroyed propaganda that they got from Fox news or some idiot website like Glenn Beck's, Worldnetdaily or any of the 1000's of others that have nothing but propaganda. It's sad that with all of the information in front of them, they choose to believe lies because they want politics to be a game where their side is always correct and the other side is always working to destroy the country. This is both sides of the political spectrum, it's just that most people that like the current republican party are the worst of the dumb offenders.
