I think if a talking pig with a cell phone turns up to take one of their kids out (especially if it's the pig's car and it is doing the driving) then the parent should forbid their child from going.

Some folks lack a sense of humor.
These OMM's better hope their sons never venture down to a strip club down in Tijuana!
The things those girls will do to a stack of quarters!
Personally, I like the pig on the plane,"when pigs fly," "did she just say that," commercial better.

I also like th gecko in the desert when he encounters the roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote. Though, I suppose that could be viewed as too violent for prime time!

@KeyjoThe fish bites themselves aren't worth it. I had reflux for three days, even after taking omeprazole.

Would these be the same one million moms who wanted J C Penny to fire Ellen because she is openly gay? I think there are really only about a dozen of them.

A few years ago Kathy Griffin ran afoul of Bill Donohue of "The Catholic League" over a comment she made at an awards show. Donohue got a lot of TV time with his outrage, and later on Griffin commented on that, something to the effect she didn't know what "The Catholic League" was but it turned out to be a guy with a computer.

Look, face it...Geico---just has some pretty dumb ads! I have always said that if they would just stop airing all of those stupid commercials they could probably lower the cost of auto insurance, for most people, by half!!!

@Sonny I don't really see any reason to get upset with Geico over a single ad. They consistently have the most juvenile, moronic, low appeal ads of any insurance company I know of. And they are nowhere near the cheapest.

Hasn't Miss Piggy been known to throw herself at human males in addition to Kermit? Funny how everyone understands the Muppets are fiction. This is just plain silly.

But what's the big deal? We all knew bestiality was coming right behind homosexuality. Legitimize homosexuality, then they'll seek to marry their pets... No surprise here, lol.

That comment is even DUMBER than the outrage over this commercial. I can't believe that you are let out by yourself.

WVMountYouNear - You are correct. Once one kind of perversion is accepted then it's only a matter of time before everyone else with a pet perversion will want theirs accepted too.

Interesting....Do you suppose we would have less collateral damage and get more converts to the American Way of Life if we Drone Striked them all with Bacon Bombs?

"Does the GEICO ad cross the line by promoting bestiality?" So without a doubt GEICO is promoting bestiality? In my opinion, this doesn't sound like they are promoting bestiality, only somebody with a bizarre mind would take the time to even think that! These pole questions need to be improved!

Hold on, doesn't the porcine individual (trying to be PC here) rebuff her advances? That's promoting family values and abstinence and whatnot.

@Bobolinsky I liked both of your posts. I was trying to come up with some witty "men are all pigs" comments but couldn't think of anything funny.

GEICO is just prepping the battlefield for the next form of acceptable marriage and civil rights actions that will be forthcoming... beastieality

I said this to someone else...if you make the leap from this srupid commercial to bestiality, your pure, Christian self is watching some majorly jacked up porn.

I would think the OMM would be happy as all Maxwell wanted to do was play Fruit Ninja. Who was coming on to who?.. Wait a second.. reality is setting back in... It's a commercial for cryin out loud!

Was there similar outrage over the caveman commercials...how about the talking gecko from Australia...come on folks, these are commercials? Bet GEICO gets a bunch of new customers over this...

As I recall, there WAS a backlash from cavemen's groups. They took issue with the phrase, "so simple, even a caveman could do it!" They did have a point, it was rather derogatory.

Nevertheless, it is a commercial...this country takes things too far from time to time...political correctness has become nauseating...

There are bigger issues than to be hollering about than a commercial. How about OMM pull their heads out of the cloud and protest all the rotten things going on in D.C. and the mass release of illegal aliens?! Just a thought!!

Amen Sister! Releasing the convicted felon Illegals is a betryal of the public trust of the highest order. But, Very Obama. How sad for our children. How sad for us all.

@BossTweed I've often observed the people who most loudly demand budget cuts are the first to complain when the cuts have consequences.

    @Zazziness
There are 500 some odd millionaires in the House and Senate.... their pay should be reduced, the games in D.C. are getting way out of control!!
  • #42

@texas_cutie75 I agree their pay should be reduced, though that won't even begin to address the budget cuts that are about to happen.

When i first saw it, for a brief moment, I thought the same thing. After that I went back to just thinking of it as a funny commercial. I am a Conservative, I am a Geico customer. I have no intention of switching over a silly commercial.
