I wonder why the government and the media want us to think it was a "Terrorist" act. Maybe it was just a crazy person who likes to watch things blow up. Why the mass hysteria? Hey, let's not jump the gun.

@dances-weebles Looks like I was right, the White House and the FBI has acknowledged that it was an act of terrorism. Do you feel a liyyle bit stupid now?

As bad is this was it is not near as bad as it will be.... A small group of armed terrorists spread out across the nation could bring the nation to a dead stop....

You have to wipe your eyes when you think about this tragic terrible incident. If we find these people, they need recompense

This was a national disaster. Where are the picture like this relative to Sandy Hook (a staged event). This REAL incident will not be resolved or framed in a day or 2, like the bogus types (Sandy Hook and 9/11).

With as many enemies as America has, lax immigration doesn't make much sense. Yeah, some people are trying to escape rough countries but we have to ensure the safety of our citizens first. We can't help anyone else if we don't secure ourselves first. This could very easily happen on a greater scale and with coordination. From what people say, pipe bombs and other IEDs aren't that hard to make.

And no, the fed gov doesn't need to turn up the citizen surveillance level; it needs to first look at much stricter immigration policy and securing our borders. A little more looking out for #1 is sometimes appropriate.

Just now finding out about this. Horrible to say the least. My thoughts and prayers go out. May those involved with this get the harshest penalty possible.

Once again, the Liberals on here and in the press try to blame Republicans. What a bunch of morons. The most likely perps are the muslim terrorists who are buddy-buddy with the moron in Chief.

Very sad indeed. This is the result of Obama's weakness as our president. Terrorists are emboldened because they think Obama is weak, therefore the country is weak. Obama should take the blame and resign so we can get a REAL prfesident, someone who is a patriot and knows what they are doing.

What a tragedy, I hope this is not domestic terrorism. I don't want the country to resort to terrorizing itself. We have too many external threats to deal with.

Give it time. More of this will happen on our home turf if something isn't done. We need to worry about our problems here at home but keep a close eye on what's going on over seas. I just hope the government won't politicize this. But like they said in the past. Never let a good tragedy go to waste.

Just what would you like to see done?

I don't see this as anymore of a tragedy that that which happened in Newtown or Aurora. How is it more of a tragedy than if someone had stood at a window and sprayed the runners with bullets? Or driven a car at high speed through the crowd?

You don't want to see the government politicize this yet you want something done. And we'll see more on our home turf? Just what do you think has been going on around us for years now? It's called violence. It's called murder. It's happens every single day of the week all around the country. Unless someone pitches a full blown fit and makes a great news story we don't even hear about it.

Terrorism? What's the difference between a Muslim with a pipe bomb or an American teenager with an assault rifle? People still die. And I'm darn sure they were all "terrorized" during their final moments.

@PayThatCEO what I'd like to see done? How about the CIA and other intelligence agencies doing there job. How about that thing in the Oval Office call it like it is. Terrorism not a tragedy. Newtown, Aurora. Terrorism. A tragedy is when a school bus of kids run over a cliff and dies. Terrorism is when someone plans and acts out 1st degree murder. There's a post on here already politicizing this. Liberal media is pointing fingers towards right wing extremist. Calling it a tax day bombing. That is garbage. They should have more respect than that intel they find the guilty. That's what needs to be done and stop playing a endless blame game.

Nutcases..... What can we do with them? Once found, if you let the right people ask the questions, the truth can be had. The police can ask if they did this or not, they will say no. But trust me people, as long as BurnzOmatic makes propane torches the truth can be had. You just got to have what it takes to ask.

Agree with Jesse on this. Very good photos. I have to pass along to the AP. I hope and pray for speedy recoveries for those injured and healing to those who lost loved ones from this tragedy.

Did anyone else notice that some of the first responders were Military? Has there always been a Military presence at the Boston Marathon finish line. Weird, why where they there?
