The killers Uncle was just on TV in front of his home in Maryland. HE was furious with these murderers saying they had disgraced the family and painted all peace loving Chectnian people as BAD. The Uncle stated that the Boy should turn himself in and BEG forgiveness for the horrible things HE had done to innocent people.

It was GREAT to see the Uncle verbally tear these Thugs to shreds.

The uncle and the rest of family should be on the next plane back to Chechnya! Not in seats but tied to the wing.

@GuyFawkes and just to be sure that they are not carrying explosives, they should be flown while stripped of all articles of clothing.

@Vance1 - Granted I'm not in the know much about Boston but I have the perception that the Cambridge area that they hailed from was a fairly 'blue blooded' joint with Harvard, MIT, etc to also be fairly intellectual.

Unfortunately, the Islamic ties seemed apparent from the beginning, due to the nature of the IEDs.
The Chechnya connection is surprising, but it is a very dangerous and tumultuous region, Afghani Sunni Muslim.

Chechen separatists are not to be trifled with.
Recall in 2004 they took a school hostage and murdered 350 people, including 186 children.
    Dangerous terrorists.

His son is an angel? His angel blows people to bits randomly? Is that what he calls angelic? Maybe we ought to bring the father in too and charge him as well. Sounds like he filled these kids heads up with utter nonsense and that makes him partially culpible.

He loves his son, and wants him to surrender... I doubt he believes his som is guilty or has come to terms with the crimes his son may have commited. It also shouldn't come as a shock that he's afraid that his son would get shot trying to surrender.

2 Kings 19:35 "And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses."

@Saving_USA Interesting point, in Judeo-Christian/Islamic mythology angels do what thier told by God without hesitation... even if that means killing thousands of people.

I was expecting a Timothy McVeigh type individual(s) due to the circumstances(It occured on Tax Day). Of course I was wrong.
But,I personally doubt that these two men are connected to a larger foreign terrorist plot. Foreign terrorists would target an important government building, not a marathon race. Plus, foreign terrorists would not use cheap, homemade pressure cooker bombs.
These two men could have just been Al Qaeda wannabes or it could have been something to do with Chechnya and Russia. We should just wait and see.

This is so tragic... and it seems to me, based on this limited info we have on the two brothers, that the "mastermind" was the one already dead... What I fear is the bellicose ignorant bigots deciding once again perpetuating their claims that ALL muslims are terrorists... The dead brother's statement is similar to the declarations made by almost all mass killers, "I don't fit in anywhere." This incident has more in common with Newtown than it does with 9-11... I have no doubt of that.

@DogLady_1 No one does this just because they feel misunderstood.....whatever.... .unless they've been taught a certain ideology.....

I mean come on, after calling them angels, the father threatens all hell will break loose?

@Knightkore She wasn't defending them, she was saying she hoped the Americans won't judge all of the Muslim faith based on the actions of two.
Considering what I've read on this site and heard around my community, it's too late for that hope. It's happening.

@Bobolinsky good luck with that dude is what I say back to the dad. Asshat that he is.

With the dad's threat of "All hell will break lose" if i were President I would have his ass deported immediately and his citizenship revoked. That in itself is a terrorist act enflaming other Muslims to take up violence against America. There is no need for that. He knows more than he is letting on, but as for the uncle i am not convinced he is truely remorseful. We are going to continue to have this problem, not as violent as this but when you grant citizenship on a whim you can't expect everyone to be peace loving. Look at the 12 million illegals Obama wants to legalize and we know nothing about them except thay are hear illegally. I'm not saying that they are all extremist, however there is no doubt that a large majority have arrest records and are commiting crimes as we speak. It's time for all Americans to call for an illegal alien round up, and use the troops to control our borders, especially in Texas, California, and Mexico. Get them out now!

Illegals commit a crime every day they are illegally in this country. Every year every one of them breaks the law every day just by staying.

Not at all surprised that the perpetrators are misguided Muslims from a foreign country. Most of all not surprised they are not "rightwing white Tea Party members" as the hateful lieberals predicted. But I must say I feel sorry (NOT!) for Chris "Obama sends a thrill up my leg") Matthews who must be heartbroken that traditional white Americans were not the perps. In a rare occurence, I'll tune into his show tonight just to see the egg on his face and hear his slanted excuses.:)
Most of all I am happy the murderers have been taken out of circulation so no other innocents will be hurt. Cudos to the F.B.I. and other law enforcement for a job well done.

We don't know who they are - we don't know why. We will never know the truth - only how the media paints them. Unless we lived with them - how could we know?
Don't get caught up in the national, religious aspects - we don't know.
This will undoubtedly be twisted into need for more firearm control laws. Think of the total picture - this is a tragedy - this is isolated - think before you judge - then once the perps are found guilty apply the death penalty.

    What?
We do know who they are.
We know the family, background, education, ethnicity, religious views.
They 'why' is of course the biggest question.
  • #147

    @GuyFawkes

No, we have a profile - we don't know them. This is how - as many speak against - how the media shapes our perceptions.

    Justice will be served.

    @Glich
Following that logic, nobody knows anyone.
Of course we have profiles but we have more than simply profile.
We have spoken to family, know their education, background, affiliations-
Law enforcement doesn't need to be personally introduced to know who and what they are looking for.

    @GuyFawkes
Sorry - I didn't know you have so much insight - are you a lawyer or Law Enforcement agent?
You stated "We" - "we have profiles" - "we have more than simply profile" - "we have spoken to family" - so your saying your either involved personally in this investigation or in your mind - you use "We" to describe your total faith in what "You" have been told by the "Media" and to you that means "We know" -
I disagree - I speak for "Me" - its my opinion I refer to - Try it!

Whether or not I am an attorney isn't relevant.
Are you not part of a collective populace? Are you part of the fabric of America?
Are you a member of this site, thread, specific discussion?
Guy Fawkes generally does not engage in 'me' vs 'them' discussions.
    It is 'we.'

We are looking at terrorists, noting more nothing less. Is there a group associated with them? We just don't have enough facts at this time to make a determination. This will all come out in the future, however, at this time we just don't know.

@GuyFawkes If so it was a very strange choice of words considering that his 2 sons are suspected of a mass terror bombing. Sounds exactly like the kind of threats that come from Islamic extremists every day.

I find it very interesting that nobody even considers how many people in America could easily be ID'd, with the latest facial and gait recognition as being those shown in the videos and pictures. I'm not saying these guys did not do it, however, I'm not ready to just trust what could easily be a frame up based on very little.

I want to see unbroken and un-tampered with evidence of the 26 year old's shooting and being found with anything that links him to this. Everyone knows that was digitally captured in real time, if they don't, they should know.

Digital recognition technology has come a loooooooong way since Los Alamos, thanks largely in part to The Total Information Awareness Act and it's subsequently heavily funded fragmented parts.

Unfortunately, those in control of that technology, paid for by the people in more ways than most know, likely cannot be trusted since most all of it is kept far from reach of the people.

What I am saying is, if that technology actually owned by the people, was distributed via public license to the people, a HUGE number of tech savvy people could analyze raw data themselves and know without any doubt if those shown really are those being pursued.

    Here's a message for "Dad".

You "angel" is responsible for the murder of three people, and they maiming and wounding of over 180 more. He deserves nothing less than a bullet between the eyes. Don't like it? Come over here and will put one between yours, too.
  • #77

A bullet between the eyes is to quick. They should be made to suffer like the 180+ injured and 4 dead suffered.
Oh, then a bullet between the eyes.
