    @marine1

    Your goverent has no interest in learning or applying any portion of the constitution. As has been demonstrated by it's actions and, even more revealing, the words of Presidents to local elected officials, they view it as an obstacle. Impossible to refute.

    you forgot Second and Fifth, but concur wholeheartedly. might even need to add Third, since a couple was arrested recently for resisting officers who wanted to take over their home for surveillance of their neighbors.

    @marine1 very true. Mr. Obama already knows, though, he was a Constitutional scholar. he just doesn't care, like any other despot.

    Recently it has come to my attention that the commentary on this site has become way too partisan and divisive. Ever eager to be a uniter, I have taken it upon myself to try to break down some of the walls that have built upon between various factions of political ideology.

    We become a stronger nation when we are willing to hear the views of each other. However, surely this is a topic where conservatives, liberals, and libertarians can rally around in agreement that the obama administration has gone too far. When we unite as a people we can accomplish anything, and we can restore liberty and freedom to our country. I hope you are as proud of our country as I am and I look forward to views being expressed about how we can stop the most rogue administration in our history from further deteriorating our rights.

    Thanks,

    Neo

    The most rogue? Not likely. It's not like he started the programs to begin with but he didn't do anyone the favor of shutting down or restricting them either.

    And also ignoring the fact that the TSA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was signed into law by George W. Bush.

    Yep, Neo is a model of non-partisanship.

    So no bad words against Bush? You know, the guy that gave us the joy that is the TSA in the first place? Oh an he is also responsible for the patriot Act. Oh an he started a war based on bad intel that consumed Billions in tax dollars, killed American soldiers and drove the country into financial ruin. And we did not even get any oil out of the deal. In fact gas prices went up 400% under Bush.

    There is your rouge administration

    Sorry, not drinking the "nobama" Kool Aid.

    Someone had to do something to get that through the TSA's thick skulls. Obviously, the man was very effective at that airport. Now, what about the rest. My six year old daughter had put play dough in her back pack after I had packed everything. I didn't know she did it. When they found the play dough when her backpack went through the scanners, the TSA at the Orlando airport wanted to strip search my six year old little girl. They were all men. She started crying and I let them have it. I told them what had happened and they could just through the play dough away, but they were not strip searching my daughter and that they didn't want the lawsuit if they tried. They then tried to hide their name tags. Too late. My husband had already typed them into his phone. I told them that and they let us go on to our plane.

    SS troops, Gestapo, whatever.....the TSA seems to be a hotbed of psychopathic ne'er do wells and kiddie fondlers that would give the Catholic Church some competition.....

    No kidding! That was ridiculous. She had already walked through a scanner. That's bad enough. I think those TSA guys were just perverts!

    So easy to find proof that the appropriate name for the TSA is Terrorism Success Assurers. They have cost the country significantly more money then the Twin Towers disaster. They specialize in the elderly, infirm, and young. I am sure I can get a gun into any airport of their choosing, on the day of their choosing. They are ineffective. The things they brag about, like the 2nd underwear bomber occurred outside of the US. They are a bad joke being played on this country. Repeal the Patriot Act. Repeal all such Acts. Disband the TSA. Free up our airports.

    The TSA has "agreed not to appeal the ruling or further prosecute Mr. Tobey for interfering with TSA procedures," Gershman informs.

    {Smug bastards aren't they? TSA needs to be disbanded and the Patriot Act repealed.}

    "Hey, Bob. How'd you do with people's first and fourth amendment rights today?"

    "Oh, I walked all over them, Steve. You should have heard this one guy whining about it. Blah. Blah."

    "Haha. Me, too, Bob. Well, I'll see you tomorrow."

    ----Well, at least now they know it.

    @MongoAPillager - That was then. I couldn't graduate from 8th grade without passing an all-day-long constitution test, but since the standardized "no child left behind" tests don't cover that topic, it's not taught with as much diligence or enthusiasm anymore.

    Maybe you slept in class. It's requirement for graduating 8th grade and requirement to graduate High School and has been (even in the 70s when I was in school and still is)

    The TSA is a terrorist success assurer. I can get a gun into any airport the TSA chose on the day they chose. They are mostly thugs using their badge power to push people around. They spend more time on the elderly and infirm rather then on more likely threats. I have reduced my air travel from around 80,000 + miles a year to maybe 20,000.

    I am not surprised that Obama allows Federal agents to ignore the Constitution. So much for Hope and change. He has turned out to be the same as Bush if not worse.

    These types of demonstrations help TSA employees understand that the persons they are searching and screening do have rights. It's a good lesson to learn.

    the TSA agents should be forced to attend an elementary school constitution class just to make them look stupid in front of kids..why are you here, did you fail this class when you was a kid..

    Stand up for our rights is intrinsic to what the USA is. We've lost so much, and government has gotten so big, because we have become a nation of complainers who do not act. This young man is a patriot and a fine example for all of us.
