    Why, because he speaks his mind frankly and consistently and doesn't bow down to bullshit PC idiots that get butthurt over one man's opinion?

    I like him. I think he's really funny. And I really like it That the mayor stuck up for him Instead of kowtowing to couple crybabies.

    I voted "I'm speechless" but not for the same reasons a Lib would have. It's an odd way of making a statement but, given that some perceive a constant push against rights and liberties for favor of "control for protection", I can see where his frustration comes from. He didnt make any threats. Just a lot of "Hey go F yourself".

    @Slowmo
    I will also like to say it's refreshing to see a law enforcement officer actually embrace the 2nd amendment and want all citizens to own weapons not just other police officers.

    Anytime you resort to name calling you have lost the argument. Not to mention it makes the rest of us look bad who are trying to do things in the proper context.

    I had a relative by marriage who was the chief of police in a small city in rural Pennsylvania. This fool is no chief of police. Hell he shouldn't even be the local dog catcher.

    Actually he does, but the tax payers have a right for a law enforcement agent to represent everyone. This guy is mentally unstable. He can be fired or at the least suspended and evaluated. Free speech does not protect one from getting fired. Try bashing your boss on FB or bragging about how great your companies competition is on youtube and see how long you last at your job. It is not a free speech issue. Learn the constitution.

    @Myopinion69 Do you have a degree in psychiatry? The man is fed up with the current regime and political correctness. There is nothing wrong with that. more people feel that way all the time. The left is going to have to deal with it.

    @Myopinion69 we have been told from an early age the truth can hurt. So this man is telling the truth and the people he is discussing are the ones that are hurt. I have to agree with the man on "BROWN NOSE" Kerry.

    @scotta As a lefty , I am elated. This stuff actually helps the democrats more. You probably do not get that but it does. Most people want intelligent dialogue. He could state his opinion in an adult manner. The fact that he chooses to go the route he did, will only turn off and detract people. Seriously, I do not even think the guy truly cares about the right wing. He is looking to make a splash and a lot of money, like what Rush and crowd does with their niche. I say , I hope he keeps it up. Better than spending money on advertising for the left.

    @Realthinker He is just another example of the the anti-social personality disorders that are so prominent with the conservative mentality. I've posted the links on this thread. You may want to take a moment and LEARN SOMETHING!

    When one is entrusted with the measure of the law, one must remain unbiased.

    Chief Kessler's attitude and intimidating speech and actions indicate that he neither balanced or in control of himself.

    My police officer relative and his attorney wife are the biggest conservatives I know. Law enforcement has their political preferences just like the rest of us.
  • #47
    !
    @Realthinker - Well, considering that one must be of the mindset to control and hold people accountable to rigid enforcement of the rule of law...that does seem to make sense.
  • #69
    !
    @Realthinker having a sworn officer of the law behave in such a manner is sickening. No one should be filled with so much vitriol, much less post such a rant in a public forum. That he is sworn to protect other people is simply disgusting .

    @Solfish42

    Indeed, because I surely do not want or need any liberal piece of shit protecting me.
    If thats all we have, I am better off just protecting myself.

    @jmiller94 in a town full of chicken hawks at least he manned up and went to nam' and despite what a bunch of buttsore cowards who ran when push came to shove and left their brothers, he served honorably. He might have spoke out against the war when he came home but guess what, he had more right than most and it was a BS war anyway we had no business fighting.
    Swift boat vets for truth? More like cut and run cowards who try to rewrite their own gutless history.

    He is allowed to voice his opinion as long as he does not connect his free speech to his employment in any manner. When you are a Chief of Police, you are known and your private speech becomes public when you post it on the internet, his language is one of the issues. If he does this on his videos, can you imagine what he would do on a traffic stop or in a bar disturbance call. That public figure part really limits what you can and cannot do. He needs to just resign and find other employment.

    I agree. Obama first. With as much horse hockey as Obama has interjected his opinion on. Swaying the emotional unstable and so on.

    When Obama resigns, then this guy needs to resign. Till then, this police chief needs to carry on.

    "he talks like a liberal,yet the gun gives him away".

    @Buckfan4life2 Naw it couldn't actually be a staged video could it? It couldn't be a liberal making a video to try to make a certain group look a certain way? Could it?:-D I smell rotting meat even way down here.

    @Concerned_Cit You are right I actually was going to say that but these nice liberals already make enough fun of me now. That's alright, I got some thick skin and that's something these thinskined pussies don't have. They are known to do things to make the otherside look like idiots. They have always played dirty and Iam sure that's not going to stop because they can only brainwash people that can't think for themselves.
  • #250

    @Concerned_Cit So you think the guy WHO HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS THE TOP LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE TOWN in a fake video? I dont think youve quite thought that theory through well enough!

    @FFS- Tis you who hasn't thought it out, because you're offtopic. His job has nothing to do with my point. What, you think there are no goosestepping liberal cops? Try going to California or New York sometime and you'll find the majority of cops in those states are party line Stalinist's.

    This Police Chief should absolutely be fired! Everyone has the right to freedom of speech but he's making a political statement while acting in the capacity of police chief. He uses the derogatory remark "libtard" and if I were a liberal or an individual whom was mentally handicap I would not go to him for help or trust him. And one last point we always hear people talk about American values; But what about good old-fashioned professionalism when did that stop in America?

    How did a man this stupid, inarticulate, and incapable ever become even a small town sheriff? He stumbles over his own words and never really gets to a point. This is simply an excuse to shoot his guns in the hope that it will scare those who disagree with him, but he doesn't manage to convey any real message here. Plus, he's too inept to edit out the long blank portions of the video, the parts in between automatic weapon fire. Not an impressive man at all. A dangerous clown, and he's NOT HELPING conservative causes in the least.

    This guy is mentally unstable to be a representative of law enforcement. Wow. Very unprofessional but worse a powder keg. The department should have him evaluated by a team of professional psychiatrists.

    Chief Kessler's name-calling count is probably about the same as that of the previous posters on this thread. How about if, say,@ffs-, you publish your real name and location, and then call him names? Those inbred rural types can track you by scent or ip address, you know.

    yeah these grandstanders just blurr the issues.. As a citizen he has the right to speak freely, but as a Police Officer?, this rant shows him being biased and he clearly states to have no regard for authority should a law like that be passed.. I dont think we should ban firearms but crackpots like this guy DONT support my arguement.. Go play military in your backwoods and let those of us with better communication and negotiating skills handle this.. NO really DONT HELP! haha

    Just don't let him know you are a liberal when he's putting the cuffs on you after you commit a crime and you'll be fine.
    And what is there to negotiate about the 2nd amendment with the UN? The UN has NO authority over the US Constitution and the American people.
  • #68
    !
    @HeresSomeTruth I think he was referring to the small arms treaty and the flurry of hearsay that went along with it.
  • #133
    !
    @Slowmo
    Yeah, I know, thanks.
    Actually there's a couple of UN (Undermining Nations) treads out there concerning the US. There's the Handgun Ban and the Small Arms Trade treaties.
    These treaties can NOT supersede the US Constitution and 2nd Amendment ...
    Article VI, clause 2 of the US Constitution;
    This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all >[treaties]< made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, >[anything in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding]<.

    That means that even if the Congress votes for, and the President signs, a treaty that says you are not allowed to have a gun and/or handgun...it won't hold up in the supreme court. And if the supreme court doesn't uphold that then it's a total breach of contract between the federal gov't and the states and/or citizens and at that point if they don't wanna follow the law...why should you!!!
