There goes Bill - I did not inhale... that depends on the definition of is... and i did not have relations with that woman - Clinton.
Ridiculous comparison. you have to have an ID to buy a gun Bill.

@frigginhell It is already easier to vote than buy a gun, any gun. so what he said is in fact irrelevant.

@frigginhell - maybe this clarifies it more...
    Gun purchase ID required...
Casting a Vote NO ID required...
He is far from "spot on"

@jeepstermike Gun purchase, no ID required. Only cash is required. Do you use ID"s at gun shows? Nope. Not at all. How about when you buy them from private owners? Nope. Not at all. Do all gun stores ask to see your ID? I can guarantee they don't because I have personally purchased a gun in the last year without an ID at a gun shop.

You have to have an ID to register to vote and get a card and that should be the end of it. Requiring a Driver License or Birth Certificate is making it hard to vote. Voting should require no more ID than required to buy a gun.

    @Ironicguy
You are right about that. Just look at all the people that died from all those undeclared wars.
Look at the weapons those war criminals had (Bush/Obama) automatic guns, tanks, fighter jets with missiles and bombs, cruise missiles.

@Ironicguy Let me just say the 2000 election was not decided by the vote, but was unconstitutionally circumvented by the supreme court.

That said, I agree 100% that this is not a great democracy...

It's not hard to vote in this country at all. Hell, even dead people can do it, just all Acorn and the democratic party. But let's keep things real here...voting in America doesn't mean a damned thing anymore, especially when a billionaire like Soros can buy into the company that counts the votes. What was that that Stalin said...something like 'it doesn't matter who votes but who counts the votes'.
And not only all of that...America is a republic, republics grantee each individuals rights against the majority. You don't have to vote, you don't have to own a gun...but it is your RIGHT do to both if you want no matter what the majority says.
    .
Slick Willy needs to leave the political scene and get back to his womanizing...he's done enough damage to this country with the 2008 economic crisis with the monetary policies he signed in 1999 and 2000.
And he needs to take his CFR loving wife with him.

Yeah,'cause there's all kind of calls to require background checks, fingerprinting, fees, and waiting periods being proposed to vote.

Why not make the requirements to exercise both rights the same?

Did you hear about the latest one up for vote?$100 transfer fees, 90% tax increases on ammo, etc. It's not expected to pass, but these people without a doubt are not our friends. They are enemies.

This shows how ignorant Bill "The Coward" Clinton really is. You got to have an ID to buy a gun. So why not stop the lies.

I'm sure MLK wouldn't approve of Clinton's and the democratic's attacks on second amendment rights. By today's standards progressives would label MLK a major gun wacko, considering he had an arsenal of weapons.

After his house was bombed, King applied for a concealed gun permit in Alabama and his application was denied by the local police.

Ridiculous comparison Bill. He's a bit late to the party for the asinine gun control remarks but at least his jab was appropriate for the occasion?!

Anyone thinking this is a remotely true analogy is far removed from actually legally buying a firearm. If its illegal gun purchases you believe to be the problem, then the elected officials ineptitude to fight crime and prosecute criminals should be in question.

@jeepstermike: I took his remarks as an endorsement to repealing gun control laws. Purchasing a gun should be as easy as voting. :P

It is way easier to vote these days. People just be getting too lazy to walk up to the polls.

Thats because its bullshit. Democrats are against voter identification for one reason and one reason only. It makes it harder to commit voter fraud and democrats at least the politicians are for voter fraud.

Thanks to Clinton and his signing NAFTA we are no longer a great industrial nation. Would like to see him take Hillary and disappear from public life, he has hurt this country and people here enough already.

It's a shame if the liberals think that out of speeches commemorating MLK, a jab by slick Willy at assault rifles was the best line of the day.

I just wish they'd hurry up and post another article up for us to jab at. I was gonna have a bowl of cereal before bed but looking at his possum head in that picture grossed me out.

The bigger shit bag you are the more the left loves you and that's so obvious. This man has almost lied to the American people as much as Obama and these people think hes God No# ll. If he would have told the truth for once in his life he would have said "a great democracy makes it easier for us Democrats to vote 2-3 times so we can eventually take away their assault weapons." What a worthless POS!

Last time I checked, a firearm is heavier than a picture ID, and my polling place is closer than the nearest store that sells guns. This is not as great a democracy as it used to be, though.

Which is why the USA is great, it IS easier to vote than to buy a weapon of any kind, and the former Prez knows it.

That is a strawman arguement, Clinton knows it. All he is doing is stumping for his life partner.

I agree 100% with Bill - everyone who wants to vote should have a background check, produce government-issued identification and have to wait 7 days before voting just like I do when I'm at the gun store. Never thought I would agree with liberal dems on anything!
