The particulars of this scandal - phone taps of at least 30 Associated Press reporters - added an ominous dimension to Obama's "heard about it on the news" claim.
The enrollment website for Obamacare had a "glitch" of a time getting off the ground.

This was Obama's "read my lips" moment -- It may not be the most consequential scandal in the grand scheme of history, but it's dinged his approval rating badly and could have serious repercussions for Democrats in next year's midterm election.
