I don't care where he was born. What I do care about is how the truth around Obama gets changed whenever it suits him. For example, he's an American born citizen then why did he get his scholarship to Occidental college under the guise of a foreign student? His autobiography is all true , well , except for those composite characters and made up conversations,.... The list goes on.

Let's put an end to the birther "issue" once and for all. You don't have to be born in the US to be President! The Constitution says you have to be a natural (not native) born citizen to be President. This means you have to be a citizen when you were born. There are many ways to be born a citizen. One of which is being born in the US. But if one of your parents is a US citizen, you can be a natural born citizen, no mater where you were born. Obama's mom is a US citizen, so he was born a citizen, no matter where he was born.

Actually, the Constitution says this - word for word - "No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States"

Note a few key things; 1. "At the time of the adoption of this constitution", meaning that subset was only required to be met in the time period, not in this day and age.

    2. It says the person has to be fourteen years a resident, but over the age of 35. That doesn't mean the person has to be born in America, s'long as they've been a citizen of the United States for 14 years.

According to the Constitution, Arnold Schwarzenegger could run for President, and be perfectly constitutional in doing it. It doesn't matter where Obama was born, because 1. He fits all criteria required by the Constitution to run for President. 2. Legitimate Birth Certificate > Some typographical mistake by a half-baked biographer for a pamphlet no one knew about until Donald Trump realized Romney was an idiot.

Actually IA, you are slightly wrong, the subset to which your sentence describes is only the subset of a citizen at the time of the writing of the Constitution. This was to grandfather all those who had emmigrated to the colonies at the time the Constitution was written. So no, Schwarzneggar cannot be President.

That is the -only- section dealing with who can and cannot run for President in the Constitution itself. You can try to spin it around all you want - but that won't change the facts, my friend.

Hurricane74: "McCain was born on a military base in Panama and he ran for president. Nutjobs need to give up this birther crap already."

People can call me a nutjob all they want. All I want is to make sure our country is following the Constitution. Nobody seems to know exactly where obysmal was born and obysmal is spending an awfully pretty penny to cover his tracks. I support Donald Trump 100% in continuing to investigate just where this anti-American president is from. Making sure our political process is honest is important not only for you and me, but for the children of America for generations to come.
